    Great turntable

I bought this turntable so I can enjoy my records again, old turntable and speakers just not sounding good and found out it would cost alot to fix and not worth it. I did alot of research about bluetooth turntables thinking I could modernized and connect to my nose or the sound bar. Compared this with the audio technica turntable and opted for the Sony as they seemed comparable and the Sony was IN STOCK at Best Buy near me! I found this easy to assemble. Connected to my Bose speaker via bluetooth after a couple of tries. Sound was much too quiet for my taste however. I was unable to connect it to the sound bar, may have needed to disconnect it from the tv which I was unwilling to do to my family. I opted to buy some bookshelf speakers (Edifier) and just use the RCA cable. Voila! Great sound easy to use. Just had to get used to the power button on the Sony turntable being in the back and make sure the output select is on "line" and gain select is on "high". I definitely recommend this turntable!

The Sony PS-LX310BT is an exceptional turntable that provides an easy and decent listening experience. It features a stylish and modern design. This turntable is incredibly easy to set up and use, and with Bluetooth connectivity you can use your noise canceling headphones or portable speaker or TV sound bar. I'm not an audiophile but the sound quality of the Sony PS-LX310BT is genuinely good. The automatic playback function ensures that the tonearm is properly aligned and the stylus is in the right position, It comes with a pre-amp, and RCA wires. delivering a no fuss experience. Overall, the Sony PS-LX310BT is an excellent turntable that delivers great sound quality and ease of use. It's a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy their vinyl records without any hassle or fuss.

Sony Phono Turntable - So Easy!

This could no be simpler for someone with absolutely no previous turntable experience to setup. I got the sony receiver, stereo speakers, and subwoofer and set it all up myself. The sound is so good! The bluetooth function is also great to have and connect speakers and headphones to the turntable, it’s as simple as pushing a button. My only complaint is the sound quality when I ripped audio from a vinyl was no as premium as I would have expected.

This is a fantastic entry-level turntable! Easy to set up, pair to bluetooth, and connect to receiver. I was gifted my parent's vinyl collection. Albums are mostly from the '60's. I wanted a good quality turntable without making a big investment. This has turned out to be a perfect fit. It sounds great connected to Bluetooth. I don't hear any "hiss" or other noises when using wireless connection. It's stylish and has a nice, sleek design, and it looks great prominently on display in my living room! Highly recommend!

Haven’t anything about the Sony BT turntable not to like. Simple enough to put together and connect to our Sony Bravia 8 Soundbar. Like the automatic tonearm. Sounds great. Looks great. Like the price point. I guess my problem with it is the lack of a cartridge stylus upgrade. Sony has a winner in the turntable market.

I’m fairly new to vinyl and record players, with only having experienced a Victrola travel record player, with a built-in speaker. So, my expectations were really low. I wanted something more traditional but didn’t want to deal with the crazy wires of an RCA/line-out speaker set up. I decided Bluetooth is the way to go and let me tell you, I’m super surprised and impressed with Sony’s Bluetooth speaker. Setup was crazy easy (though I did watch a YouTube video just to be safe). Bluetooth setup wasn’t seamless like an Apple product, but the usual Bluetooth pairing we’ve grown used to by now. I had one Marshall speaker from across the room that it just wouldn’t pick up. I decided to pair it with my smaller Marshall speaker and placed it right next to the record player and there were no issues. Once paired, the smooth experience continues. With buttons to raise and lower the arm, and buttons to start and stop, I almost feel like the beauty of record players is being forgotten - but hey, at least each playthrough is pretty consistent. I’ve heard no skipping, and connectivity has stayed. My only gripe, although minor, is the build quality. It definitely feels a bit low-end, primarily made of plastic. Maybe a combo of plastic and metal would be nice, but it’s only a minor gripe. As a result, at least the unit is very light. Also, the dust cover is a little finicky, but operating that is seldom and shouldn’t cause too many issues. Anyways, if Sony makes a follow-up to this product, I’m definitely getting it. I’m hooked!

Excellent purchase at the right price. Product works flawlessly with my new vinyl collection. This Sony turntable has a sleek modern design. Best Buy pickup was ready quickly after purchase. Setup is simple but it is important to read the instruction manual for the exact details that may not otherwise be apparent. I opted to complete my setup with speakers that had an amp built in to keep it compact.

I've had this turntable for 2 months now it has worked great the audio recording software you can download for free and keep using for free it will ask you if you want to update to the pay version for hundred dollars but you can find other audio recording software for free as well. This will be a problem with any USB turntable. Just recently the tone arms started dropping really heavy and fast causing a thump when I hit play, I contacted Sony and they sent me out a shipping label right away. I did some research before returning it and read that if you keep the tone arm cradled in the up position when not in use it will solve the problem and did for me. My previous turntable wasn't good for protecting the record from heavy bumps or loud Bass I would hear skips sometimes on my old turntable when the base would drop or somebody heavy footed would walk by you could hear it on the record, this one however I haven't had any problems no vibrations come through and affect the sound it's a very simple and sleek design that matches all my other Sony stuff very nicely I think it's a really nice turntable but the price is kind of steep for what you get. But with it being so hard to find a turntable right now it is a great deal nonetheless especially if you want to record some of your hard to find vinyl that you can't find on CD or MP3.

I bought this for my teenage daughter, but honestly, I’m thoroughly enjoying it too! The easy of setup & use, is perfect for our needs. Hit the start button and sit back & relax. The sound quality is great too. We have it paired with a set of Bluetooth bookshelf speakers, which was super easy to do. I haven’t tried the usb recording function yet, but plan to try it soon. True audiophiles may not like the simplicity, or lack of “custom” features, but for the average user, this is perfect.

I didn't buy top of the line turntable mainly because I don't want to spend a whole lot of money now. But the Sony I purchased has been fantastic. I love playing my albums, something I haven't been able to do for quite a few years. The best part of this deal is Bluetooth. I can take my BT speaker to any room I want to be in and don't have to crank my connected stereo to hear the music from another room. I have a neighbor who has complained about that. Bottom line is I am very happy with my product.

I love this Turntable!! It’s sleek and stylish and fully automatic and the Bluetooth is a nice touch, though I don’t use that feature much. I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch Bookshelf speakers and the sound is phenomenal. The gain is adjustable and little to no noise. I really didn’t realize vinyl could sound this good. No issues whatsoever and setup was easy. Plug and play practically. No buzzes no interference and the preamp is great. No receiver needed.

Purchased this as a ‘starter’ vinyl player for my college-aged younger brother and figured we couldn’t go wrong with Sony. It’s been a great addition to his space and visually looks sleek and modern. We love the flexibility of the vinyl player, and the fact that for now he can pair a Bluetooth speaker to listen to his records. Later on, we hope to add bookshelf speakers to fully enjoy the sound the records and turntable produce. My brother even 3-D printed something to hold his records as he plays them on the turntable.

    Skeptical Buyer

I have been fighting to get my non preamp high end record player to be compatible with my STR-DN1050 Home Theater system for years. I purchased the USB Phono Plus preamp and I always got a hum, no volume and just couldn't hear the records like I did with my old Hafler amp. I finally had some extra money and decided to just get a new player. I went online and checked the reviews of the various player and for some reason this one had high reviews. It was missing all the things I thought were important like, direct drive motor, adjustable record arm, $100 record needle and strobed timing light. While those were important, hearing the record seemed an even higher desire. I went to Best Buy and the only one in stock was in a open box. I took it to the box to the counter, hearing the record player banging around in the box. I had the cashier open the box before I made the big purchase, and it was broken. However, I was able to see the players construction. She had one drop shipped to my home, in a giant box. This player, while seeming to be cheaply constructed works great. The platter is cast and turned aluminum. The belt drive is a high end rubber band. The arm is self retracting. The records play clear without hum or noise (except for record pops, remember those noises?). I did not notice any "wah and Flutter". It plugged into the Phono port and WORKED! I have not tried the digital down load to my computer, but I'm sure that works. While this seems cheaply built and should sell for a $100, it does the job. I wasn't willing to "pony up" $400-$600 for the comparable player I had and all the other reviews talked about noise and hum from other player. Oh, and I can walk away from the player, when the 22 minute LP side is done, unlike my $400 Layfette high end (no preamp) turn table. Very satisfied so far.

Works great! Bought it for Christmas for my boyfriend and I. Tried it with both RCA cables and Bluetooth. Both sounded good to me! The Bluetooth alone sounds better than any of my past record players, even played some really old vinyls that sounded better than ever. We're using only Bluetooth connection with our main Sony receiver for now because we have limited space, ideally would like to connect via RCA, but the Bluetooth is more than aight.

Great turntable. Bluetooth set up was very easy. My only problem is that the arm does not return home when you press Stop. It starts the record over. Same with when the record is over, it doesn't return to home but starts over. I bought it Open Box so I figure just deal with it since it was a great discount. More old school feel to it. At least the Start and Up/Down button works 100%. I have not tried the USB. We have it BT to our Insignia™ - 80W Audio System. Model:NS-HAIOR18 SKU:5732541. It sounds great!

After doing a lot of homework on which Turntable to buy. I'm Glad I picked this one. My stereo has a ground, this turntable does not, not to worry, if your stereo is Bluetooth capable, I read set up for my Amp. After just a few minutes I was listening to Vinyl again. If your Amp requires a ground wire connect from turntable and you do not have Bluetooth option on your Amp. Don't buy. I love this Turntable connected Bluetooth and Sounds are Amazing. This unit is Automatic, push play and it plays to the end, Play & Stop Buttons. Only Downside is, Power button is on the left back side of this unit.
