Camera takes wonderful pictures, but I had to get another battery to use the camera. The one that came with it had a defective casing (the metal cut my hand) and Best Buy refused to replace it.

I watched this series for a number of years until it had very feature I wanted. This thing is small, fast and works in low light. The picture quality is great.

In general this is a very nice camera. The image quality is excellent; it has a pile of nice features. I have had some good fun with the time-lapse feature. One significant minus is the connections. The USB connection gets used all the time, both for charging and for downloading the photos and videos. That means opening up the cover over the connector. Unfortunately, the cover is EXTREMELY flimsy. Yesterday when I opened it, the cover came right off. I can't even find it (it seems to be somewhere inside my chair). A camera this expensive should have solid moving parts, not ones that fall apart after a few weeks.

Best camera that I have had in the past 10 years I use it to travel everywhere.

Five stars for the gentleman in the camera department. This fellow really knows his business. I've been into photography for many decades and I know when someone really knows their stuff. I wanted to remember his name and of course I've forgotten it. I believe it was four characters and it was a Hebrew name. He was terrific, and this camera gives me many expert functions in a very small form factor, which is what I was looking for. Hauling around lenses, etc, has become tiresome for me. I'm old, but I'm not naive.

I had a Sony HX 90 for 3 years. Did not have a good zoom. This one has up to a 200 mm zoom which is unique for a pt. and shoot. Fits right into your pocket.

This camera is designed for a very targeted group. You want a point and shoot, want high quality photos, but don't want to pay for all the gear for a DSLR. IMO, this has a slightly larger sensor than the iPhone 12 and as a result takes slightly better photos. We've done some comparison shots with both and the difference is definitive, but not by a huge margin. The big advantage here is you can manage photos easier, do more with your photography, and upgrade your phone anytime. It is a little expensive, even on sale.
