I thought it would be similar to the color of the Milwaukee knife (pictured) really isn't** a big issue but images on here were all over the spectrum.
Pros:
- Solid design and build quality holding it at the store and actually playing with it you can feel a difference.
- I'm probably the only one who pictures Darth Vader's helmet everytime I look at it
-Dualsense >> switching from dualshock to DS I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed it in games like RE2 & Plague Tale as well as the adaptive trigger when aiming down sights (differing levels of zoom, draw speed a bow)
- my hands are noticably less sweaty vs using DS4 Bluetooth functionality for both has been flawless on PC
cons:
-I could use the gamepad on DS4 for typing can't seem to do that on Dual sense or.. I haven't bothered to figure out how
-seems to have slightly less playtime per charge vs DS4 or could be issue on my part just seems I'm having to charge more frequently

I bought an open box - excellent starlight blue controller with a coupon and paid $53 out the door. It's a good deal for these expensive controllers. However, I was immediately a little disappointed in the quality. The oil stains were visible and there was a faint cigarette smell, from a distance it looks excellent. The controller functions great and all the buttons feel good.
I was unaware of the difficulty in getting these controllers to work wirelessly on the PC. I downloaded Sony's software updated the firmware and reset the controller. It took a bit of time and troubleshooting, but I got it to work. All-in all it was a great deal, for a working PS5 controller in this color.

Got this for my gamer granddaughter, she wanted a aftermarket mod installed. I can honestly say from having it open to work on, they designed this controller like a tank! And when done it went back together solid and without damage. I am impressed.

Awesome controller and I love that Sony has come out with such an array of color options now. Smooth performance, holds a good charge, and has a vibrant color. Can't ask for much more!

This controller is absolutely amazing! The DualSense Midnight Black looks sleek and way more stylish than the standard white version. It feels super comfortable to hold, and the adaptive triggers make a huge difference, especially in FPS games and racing titles.

Galactic Purple is by far the best gaming controller color. Everything works perfect. Can't go wrong with a duel sense controller. They are however a little pricey at BestBuy compared to other stores that sell them,

The best controller I’ve ever used. Everything feels premium with this thing, from its padded buttons that reduce noise to it’s totally next generation haptics and active triggers it’s a real step forward in controller design. She’s a bit on the heavy side but that just helps drive home that high quality feel. Like last generation the batteries last longer than you should legitimately be sitting down gaming although won’t be enough for some gamers. I suggest buying at least two and the impressive first party charging dock and use them on rotation. I have three, use them frequently with my PS5 and PC and so far have no control stick drift, no malfunctioning triggers or other issues with mine. Oh and the microphone works great!
The one weird thing about them is how Sony keeps wanting to firmware them. I guess there is a lot going on in there.

Great controller if you like the PlayStation layout. Much preferred over the Xbox controller, especially as someone with bigger hands. Got it on a great sale for like $50
