I’m happy to say this solved the problem. After hours and hours of gaming my laptop is no longer slowing down. It dropped temperatures about 10-15 degrees centigrade from where they were before. I highly recommend picking one of these guys up. The fans are pretty quiet for the most part except this higher frequency noise it makes which can be annoying.

The size is perfect for 15" laptop. BUT!!! These little rubber standoff pads have come loose. See Pics

It has an adjustable platform to aid in placing the computer screen at an acceptable angle. It also has multiple USB ports that are a great addition and help as I do not have many on my laptop. I am happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a stable cool platform for their laptop.

I tried other laptop fans but this one works great. It also has the added feature of the extra USB ports on the back. It was normally $50 but I got it on sale for $17. It would have been a good by at $50 but at $17 it is totally awesome. I even went back and bought another one for my son.

Ok, but Would Compare to Other Options

The legs don't always lock into place when raising up the pad and the fan has begun making a weird noise. The extra USB ports are nice and it does help keep the laptop cool at the expense of the noise.
