I needed a docking station so I could hook up multiple USB ports and my dual monitors to my laptop due to the nature of my work so I checked out this model for a bit before purchasing. It was easy to setup and works great! The one thing that I wish it did have was the power supply but I couldn't justify spending the extra money on the next model when I could just use my laptop's power supply.

Purchased this device to add two additional monitors to my 2-1 laptop that doubles as my desktop workstation. Works flawlessly and only requires two connections to my 2-1, Power and the USB connection to the Targus. Taking my 2-1 home or for travel is easy. When I return, reconnection is a breeze.

Great option for me as I had 2 monitors with different connection types HDMI and VGA and it handled them both. I also have a work laptop and personal laptop that I needed to be able to swap easily. The USB connection took care of that. Setup was relatively easy.

I bought this docking station for my HP laptop inorder to hook up two external monitors to get a home office set up. It did the job easily and is compatible with the laptop I use at my day job as well, which was easily set up as well. Overall, the product did exactly what I wanted it to do, and I haven't had any problems with it since I purchased it a few months ago.

I got the docking station for my Surface Pro 3 because of issues I encountered with the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 docking station dropping network connections and requiring rebooting of the Surface Pro 3 (Turns out that was driver issues) The Targus has more connectivity options and has been very reliable. I did not give it 5 stars because there was a different Surface Pro 3 I could not get it to work with. When I installed the Targus software it caused problems with other software on the Surface Pro 3.

I bought this because I telework and must use my work provided laptop. I wanted to use two large monitors and thus a universal docking station seemed to work out great. It connects by USB 3 port on the laptop. My work laptop doesnt have a usb3 port so I now use it with my home laptops and desktop. I can switch between them and have the same setup which is nice. The displays are slow to respond. I wouldnt recomend it for playing games. And the drivers need to be reinstalled periodically. The pc seems to get confused. Overall i bought it and am making due but for the price it isnt doing what i wanted.

... and my desk less crowded. I was using a docking station and it always needed updating and the plugs would fall out of the outlets. I have 2 monitors so I also had to have a monitor plug coming out of my laptop and one in the dock. Now both monitors are plugged into the dock and all the other plugs stay put. I don't have to see it, or update it. Totally digging this dock!

Provides great functionality for runnung multiple monitors. Easy setup.

Using with my laptop - Easy to install. This is a very good option for dual monitor. The best advantage is that it is generic and it can be installed/used with any laptop.

Works great to link 2 monitors together. Down fall is the length of the provided high speed USB so you have to keep your laptop near the hub. Very pricey.

I found it easy to set up my work station. Everything hooked up easily except my Dell flatscreen monitor

This is an easy to use universal laptop dock. It connects via a USB 3.0 connection and allows me to easily go from work in the field to my full keyboard, 3 monitors and a mouse at my desk.

Plug it in and it works. Using this with a Yogo 900 to replace my work computer. Running 2 extra monitors, printers, etc. and it works very well!

This is used for my business line when I needed extra plug in for USB and docking.

We use these for people that need multiple monitor from their laptops, and the laptops don't have the extra ports. This allows us to have a total of 3 monitors! The laptop monitor and the two external monitors!

This was to be a solution to be able to connect everything from my laptop so I could use it in other areas of my home and business. It was great to get all my extra HDs and other USB item plugged into it. Now I have the opportunity to use the ports on the computer for the occassional usage (USB stick, cameras, ect.). My biggest disappointment is the HDMI port. I am unable to move my secondary monitor to the docking station because it will only use the Windows genric driver. For my monitor it doesn't produce the correct resolution for the monitor and you have no way to select the correct driver on the computer. So unless you want to have the incorrect resoultion for the monitor it still requires you to plug it into the computers' HDMI port for the correct resolution. Very disappointing. Being able to have everything else on the docking station makes it so you only have to remove but 2 cable though so a little easier , still would like to be able to use the HDMI port on the docking station so could use the HDMI port on the computer for other services (Camera, Cell Phone, ect.) If you just need free up the USB ports this is a great product and I have had no problems with it.

Generally this docking station works well. Currently I am running my Alienware laptop to two 27-inch monitors - the extra USB jacks are very helpful. Periodically (say every couple of days) - something goes awry in the docking station and the monitors, keyboard and mouse become unresponsive. Typically if I unplug the USB to the docking station and then plug it back in everything cycles and I am back online. On a couple of occasions I have had to open the laptop and once it required a re-start, so it was probably the pc and not the dock.

I bought this product to make it easier to work in my home office with either my personal or work issued laptops (both Lenovo). I have my monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard dongle, a Seagate backup/portable drive, and an older printer (not wireless) connected all the time and still have plenty of space for USB drives and other items. It set up easily and works seamlessly with either laptop. So much easier than having to plug all those items in every time.

Does the job! Clean and compact. Need to work on cable management

I really love the product but was having problems getting the software installed...actually, I had something conflicting that I needed to uninstall but all the troubleshooting I did led me to dead ends. I brought it in to the Geek Squad and they did their magic. I really love the flexibility of the docking station and love how easy it is to transport!
