This is a must have for a lap top in a work environment.

I specifically told the Best Buy sales people that I was looking for a laptop that would allow me to run multiple monitors. I was convinced by them that I needed the best laptop in the store because of the video card's capabilities. I was then shown the docking station that would accept multiple external devices (the laptop has hardly any inputs). However, the docking station's drivers would not install, stating that some other video driver was in the way. I went to the Geek Squak and they didn't even touch my machine, just wanted me to leave it for 5 days (UNACCEPTABLE). I am not sure that there is anything wrong with the DOCKING STATION, but Best Buy's inability to help me link the STATION to the DELL LAPTOP made my experience a failure.

I need two monitors for my job, so I bought this model over a year ago. It didn't work very well and had to be coaxed , cajoled, rebooted, and messed with if I ever undocked my laptop. It finally broke entirely. I came into the geeks and they couldn't fix it so I bought another one...figuring it had to have improve in a year. NOPE. Do not waste your money on this.

I recently purchased a new laptop to replace my old desk top computer. I need to have dual screens so i needed a docking station. This Targus docking station disappointed me in my purchase. It was really slow at starting up and lots of lag time for my added mouse and keyboard. I ended up ordering a Plugable 3.0 docking station online and returned the Targus. The Targus did not work well for me.

Several of my components, including my Monitor, would not connect with this hub

I bought it for my Surface Pro 3 because my it only has 1 USB port. I thought the docking station will provide me few more USB ports usage and plus and ease of use taking it in and out. However, the docking station did not work and ended up returning it. I'll wait for OEM one to come out in Aug.

I have had problems getting it to work with a brand new Laptop and monitor. Don't like the configuration as it is too hard to setup and make it look nice. I threw it away.

I thought I needed this product but when I was setting it up I realized that the new laptop had everything I needed. One extra Ethernet port was all it provided.

Did not work, picture was glitchy, could not handle HD quality. Returned the item.

I walked into the store and bought this without even looking to much into the item. I just looked at the price. I was looking for something that would work for a normal laptop docking station. After getting this home, I found out what an amazing product I had bought. The dual video works flawlessly. It even works with Windows 10 without any issues. They have updated the drivers on the website. Great product, worth the buy.

The docking station functioned normally for a month and then one day when the computer was hooked up and turned on there was no power to the docking station. The power supply worked. After two days and after unplugging everything from the docking station and testing it with another power supply it worked. After re-connection to the original power supply it worked.

Bought a new laptop to use to replace my old desktop. Decided to buy this product in order to connect my external monitor, keyboard, mouse, backup drive, and external speakers to the laptop through one connection. I am not a novice to computers and setting them up, I work with computers every day and, indeed, my degree is in computer science. I could not get the unit set up even when on the phone with Targus customer support (which, by the way, is not open on the weekends). Finally out of frustration, I paid the Geek Squad to come out and set it up for me. They tried a number of things including fooling the system and got it working. After he left, the external back up drive stopped working (the Targus unit no longer recognizes it). Then, while I was out of town this week, the docking station decided to stop working (could not get to any of the devices attached). This frustrated my wife tremendously.

Purchased this so I could use my laptop at home instead of the old desktop with an old dual monitor video card. The product does what it says, it supports two monitors. There is a slight learning curve to setting it up. Knowing your way around the windows display settings helps. Works good for what I need it for.
