Don't waste your money on these tvs their cheap and not worth the little money they are charging for these! Both sets were defective right out of the box

Picked this up when my old one was on the fritz. It's lightweight, set up was easy, and picture is good. If images look "floaty" or "soap opera-ish", it's as simple as turning the motion smoothing off. The motion interpolation is great for sports but, in my opinion, is disruptive during movies.

This TV was so easy to set up and the on screen prompts were very simple to follow. The picture is beautiful and the sound is great. There is no delay in the sound from the picture as some of the newer HDR tv's have. The picture settings are very useful and easy to use. My tv is set up in a dark room so i used the "vivid" setting and the picture is fantastic. I would recommend this tv to anyone wanting a large smart tv.

This is a high quality TV. I got a good deal on the 55” and because of that, I was wondering how it would compare to a big brand QLED. I think this TV is right up there with them. The picture and sound are amazing! The streaming apps on the TV are good, but I prefer to use the streaming apps on my PlayStation 5 for the best picture. The 4k movies and games are beautiful on this screen. The colors are just right. I found the settings to be straight forward. I like that this TV has some gaming settings. The voice control works well. It’s light in weight compared to other TVs of this size. It was also very easy to set it up with the Samsung Q850D soundbar (I got an amazing deal on this as well!). I believe this is one of the best TV’s you can get in its price range. I’m very happy with this TV and would highly recommend it to anyone

While Im not using it as a tv, I use it as a large 55" pc monitor, it's amazing, the picture is perfect for my daily work. i did research a bunch of tv's that where Chroma 4.4.4 compatible to be use as a large monitor, this one does the job and it also did not cost me an arm and a leg, I did buting the subscription for a software ($34.99) that can create as many monitors you want within the large monitor you may choose to have. So basically, the 55" tv is in theory 1 large pc monitor for which I was able to split into 4 independent monitors.

Great value. Good crisp picture, decent sound, great price. Would buy again so far. Two complaints: 1. loses wifi connection from time to time or does not automatically reconnect upon powering on. 2. Menu and navigation lags a bit. Almost like the TV needs a memory upgrade to run this version. Not a huge deal but get it fixed TCL.

Pros 1) Picture quality is great! Moved up from an older (2018) Onida 4K LCD TV and I can tell the difference in the brightness and picture quality. 2) Price - Perfectly good for a budget TV (bought at 299 before taxes). 3) Smart TV features - we love the AirPlay feature with Apple products. We use it to watch movies and mirror screens when discussing/planning trips and zoom calls with the family. 4) Packaging - packaging was secure and well packed to avoid any damage in transit 5) Gaming - can do 120fps @ 1440p on the playstation 5! I have tested this and looks great. You can play games at 40 fps that support it (Spiderman 2 and Miles Morales for instance) and the experience is very close to a 60fps game. Cons: 1) Not a con per se, but don't be surprised at the lack of high quality sound. It's somewhat tinny when compared my older TV which had some good bass to it. Mids aren't great either. Invest in a sound bar. 2) The TV panel doesn't do well with reflections (see image) - so don't keep any lamps/lights or even a window behind you or keep them turned off Overall a great purchase. Just don't expect amazing HDR quality but then again, you only notice what's missing when you compare TV panels side-by-side.

My 14 year old Plasma TV finally died and I looked around for a new TV and found this TCL Q6 highly rated and on sale. I really didn't expect it to me anywhere near the quality it is. I have a amazon fire TV 4k Omni as well and this thing is way way better. The colors are super bright and vivid. I am really impressed with the AI and system its super fast and snappy. I haven't had any lag or issues in the week i've had it. The remote is pretty nice too again much better then the amazon fire TV version that remote is horrible!. I got this on sale for $300 and I honestly don't think you will find a better TV for that price range.

“I recently purchased the [TCL 55” and Q6 series QLED] from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The picture quality is absolutely stunning—vivid colors, deep blacks, and incredible clarity that makes everything feel so lifelike. Watching movies feels like a theater experience, and gaming on this TV is an absolute joy with its smooth refresh rate and low latency. The setup was quick and easy, thanks to the clear instructions provided, and the smart TV features are intuitive and responsive. Streaming apps load quickly, and navigating through menus is a breeze. Best Buy’s customer service was fantastic, helping me choose the right TV for my needs and answering all my questions. This TV has truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch quality and performance. Thank you, Best Buy, for a seamless shopping experience!”

This is not an expert review and I lay no claim to such but want to give you an honest review. Bought the TCL Q6 55" after Christmas to upgrade our faithful Sony 46" TV. Picked it up in the local Best Buy and did the install myself. The box fit comfortably in the back of my Subaru Outback too. It's not too heavy but two people make the job a lot simpler - you don't want to drop the thing and I did watch the installation/unboxing video that Best Buy sent and I recommend you do likewise - don't want to crack the screen. I don't have an extremely large space for a TV so a 55" was as large as I could go. I have always bought premium brand TVs and my last two have been Sony. But my old Sony is still working 10 years on. That's not the purpose of this review, it really lay with the fact that this TV blows my old Sony out of the water. Certainly it wasn't 4K, but it was 1080p. I was looking to consolidate remote controls and make it easier for my wife as I have cable, Roku, DVD and AV theater all to contend with and none of them played nice with each other. Before you jump, a Logitech Harmony still didn't solve the remote problem. So let me get to it. I read reviews and watched YouTube reviews until I was in analysis paralysis and when I saw this budget TV rated higher than it's competitors and comparatively on margin with much more expensive brands it was time to pull the trigger. The reviews don't lie. It is a fantastic TV and I didn't realize what I was missing with my old 1080p TV. Still have to use two remotes for the time being, but at least now I have the option of a universal remote, may have to dust off the old Harmony. The TV has HDMI CEC which offers some control over HDMI connected devices such as on/off, volume, etc. using the TV remote and it works very well. There is a caveat - while the TV itself is easy to set up, if you are coming from Roku you have to set up all your apps again to the Google platform. It's a bit of a pain and time consuming. Altogether it took me about two hours to set up/update the TV and migrate all the apps, and I have several - as I said we mostly stream. Ran into one app that was a pain to migrate and that was Britbox - you have to go to the Play Store and download the app to your TV. If an app is not present in the app list you have to go to the Play Store and it is not explained anywhere in the installation guide. There are Youtube videos to show how to get apps from the Play Store by going through Settings on your TV so don't get too frustrated if you don't find things at first. Navigating the apps is pretty straightforward too, no real learning curve there. One other issue encountered was voice synch. Most channels were fine but Apple TV was terribly out of synch. There are about three or four different settings, PCM, Dolby, etc., but just stick with "Auto", once I switched to Auto no more synch problems. Speaking of sound, it is plenty loud enough through the onboard speakers, but not the quality I like, so I run it through an Onkyo AV receiver and Bose speakers, YMMV. The last thing is brightness. We use it in a room that is very well lit during the daytime and it is plenty bright and have to contend with reflections from windows which would affect even the brightest of TVs, but the wash out is fairly negligible. So if you read a review or questions about how many nits, it's plenty bright. We are really enjoying the experience so far and since it's only a week into ownership maybe not long enough to pass judgment but usually electronics work or they don't. We don't have any strange artifacts, lines or missing pixels. Oh by the way, we have found that the picture setting "movie" works best for general viewing. Not a gamer so can't shed any light on that, sorry. I don't regret this purchase in the least and do highly recommend this TV. If it changes I'll update the review.

This is my favorite TV so far for the size of my room, I was wanting a much larger TV but seeing this in person and bringing it home makes me glad I didn’t go any bigger. The pixel density at about 6 to 7 feet away on the couch just looks absolutely crisp. The colors on my 4K movies are really nice and the Google TV feature is probably my favorite thing with these recent smart TVs. I have all my Google apps installed as well as some sideloaded apps. If you have your modem nearby, I would recommend connecting an ethernet cable directly to the TV for high-quality streaming and fast app downloads.

I replaced a Vizio M-Series that I bought probably 7+ years ago because I needed something that was bright enough to deal with all of the light in my new apartment - and maybe the price was phenomenal, too. I'm very pleased. This thing is bright, fast in all the right ways, and perfect for sports (I watch MMA and football) and gaming (Xbox - DayZ, Hell Let Loose, CoD), etc. I like that it switches the refresh rate (Hz) according to the input automatically. The way it recognizes my Xbox is pretty rad. The only weird thing was the remote. It's exceptionally long - like a samurai sword.
