I’m an endurance runner so recovery is just as important as the running. Training a lot makes it hard to dedicate time to recovery, but these boots make it so easy to recover while relaxing on the couch!

I play competitive softball 2-4 times, run a couple of days, including a 9-15 mile trail run, every week. I TAX my legs. So I’m constantly looking for pre-workout prep and post-workout recovery solutions. The Therabody RecoveryAir Prime is is really nice complement to my rituals. The very fact that it makes me sit still for 20 minutes or more is nice. Super easy to get into- the zipper is full-length. I love that the compressor has a battery so you can bring this anywhere for prep or recovery. I’ve found the battery lasts for 3-7 sessions, depending on length and intensity of pressure desired. I love the tip of foot to hips coverage. It’s like getting a nice, slow, progressive massage. I don’t have metrics, but I can say I feel better after each use. Gripes? A countdown timer would be nice. And there’s just the physical reality that storage is a bit challenging. I don’t know how the latter would be solved. Live with it.

My wife is a health nut and loves working out and eating healthy. She loves running, biking, doing cardio all while being a wonderful mom. There have been days where she works out a bit harder than usual and needed time to recover. She had been using her Theragun Pro but the RecoveryAir Prime is next level in recovery and just absolutely love it. RecoveryAir Prime is basically a giant sock that helps massage your muscles to boost circulation of fluids and reduce muscle soreness and so far, it has been doing a great job. She has been able to recover faster and work out harder. So, Lets go over the features and Pros and Cons of the Therabody RecoveryAir Prime. Setup: This a super simple unit to use. It literally took me a minute to setup and get started. So, this unit can be used on the go or while plugged into an outlet. I charged up the unit for a little bit and plugged in the compression sleeve to the compression unit and you are ready to begin. Choose your time, hold time, and pressure release intervals and sit back, relax and let your recovery begin. My wife and I both have been using this unit and it just feels amazing. You have air bags compressing your legs, massaging your muscles, helping all the fluids circulate better at the same time reducing muscle soreness. It’s a feeling words really can’t describe, you would have to try it out yourself. When its all said and done, the sleeves are easy to clean and disinfect and the compression unit can be put away in its own carry pouch. The box says that the unit has about 180 minutes of runtime, I was not able to check out how long it lasted but my wife and I both did a 40-minute session and we still had 1 bar left on the battery icon. So, supposedly this unit can also be used with the App and connects via Bluetooth, but after extensive tires and finally checking the website the application for this unit will not be available until Spring of 2022. Pros: Portable and Light Weight – Charge up the unit and take it with you Easy to setup and easy to clean Can be used with one or both sleeves 180-minute runtime Cons: I could not find anything that I was not happy with. They work great Overall, The unit works as it should and does what it needs to help you recover faster so you can get back at it.

I am an advid health fanatic. I stationary bike every day and I bike in the weekends. I also work out at the gym at least twice a week when I take my kids to their activities. I am not a stranger to pain, pushing myself, and the needed recovery time to my next hard work out. I have used other recovery boots so I am familiar with how pressure boots work and their value in bodily recovery. So let's get the Therabody boots. Set up was easy. Plug in the battery let it charge up and you are basically ready to get to it. 2 sets of hoses can connect to the main pump or you can chose to use just 1 boot with the given plug to stop the 2nd boot from needing to be used. Toggling through the different pressures and durations are simple to use. There is no app available yet. It says it be available Spring of 2022 at this time of my review not was not available by yet. Results.... Great. After my daily indoor cycling it felt great after using after my work out. After harder weekend rides it was even better. The use of these boots helps remove lactic acid build up and improve any poorly circulated blood out of my lower extremities and helped with muscle recovery Battery life... After 4 uses (20 min sessions) and this is after initial full charge. Overall good product. Good results. Only con is that there are long tubes and the tubes take up storage space and a little cumbersome to roll up and put away. Also you need to make sure you order the right size. If you order too small or too large it will not work well. Make sure you follow the size chart and give these a try after your intense lower body work outs.

These boots have changed my life ! I was experiencing a lot of discomfort days after running and rolling / stretching wasn’t cutting it. Adding these for warmup and recovery has been a game changer for me, I notice less DOMS , faster recovery and less injury ! They are an investment but compared to much cheaper versions you can find out there , you really do get what you pay for. I had a $150 set that were similar but not entire boots , and they were ok but they didn’t make a big difference overall. The app is nice, you can set a few more settings than just using the machines buttons , but there isn’t much there. Seems like there is an opportunity to add more functionality but it does what it needs to. Battery is great and I can get a few 30 minute sessions out of them before needing to charge. And you can use them while plugged in also. For reference I got the small and they are perfect length for me at 5’3”.

They good and simple to use. Good purchase if you run or workout a lot.

These have helped with my warm pre leg day and immense recovery after a long run, ruck and leg day. Combined with Ice baths, simply amazing!

Had these at our gym and it's a game changer especially when doing any exercises that works your legs. I kickbox and these have helped my recovery tremendously as I grow older. Love how you don't have to keep it plugged into a wall but can do so if it also needs to be charged at the same time.

Best purchase. Absolutely loveee, usually use them after my workout or after a long 12 hours day
