TV was great at first.. but soon after, the TV started having issues of white lines going across the whole TV screen. Then started going into solid colors of blue, red, green, & white. I have to shut down TV and wait to see if screen is back to normal.

This was a bad choice. Had to return it. After multiple attempts with different new remotes, nothing would connect. Can't use the tv without the remote.

The picture quality is fine but the sound comes in and out when commercials are played. In addition, you are unable to turn off the TV without using the remote, so annoying.

Bought the Toshiba 55 inch TV for $299.....a nice price. But I am having a difficult time tweaking the color and brightness. Thinking of returning it and exchange for an Insignia 55 inch. I have two Insignia TVs and have no problems.

3 months after purchase the TV has green screen and volume issues. I expect a TV at any price to last more than 95 days.

This set is made by Toshiba in conjunction with BestBuy. It quit working a week or two before the one year anniversary of me purchasing it. Tried to call Best Buy and Toshiba and neither were any help. Wont by anything by these two again.

I took advantage of a holiday sale at Best Buy and couldn't be happier. I upgraded from an old 2003 43" projection TV with color problems. What a huge improvement! Even though this is a non-smart budget model, it comes from a brand with a solid reputation for quality. Yes, Toshiba is licensing their name at present to another electronics company for manufacturing, but you can be sure they are protecting their good name by demanding the highest quality standards. This TV lives up to that expectation.

The tv was fine for about a year then I heard a loud pop and the tv is dead as a door knob.
