Best laptop/tablet out there especially for the price

We bought this computer for my son. He uses it for school and for pleasure. It is quick and has alot of memory. We felt it gave us the most for under $700.00

Quality of construction, speed, features made this a "no brainer" decision. Together with a discounted price that was cheaper than smaller units that use a lesser processor and I was sold. While I would have preferred a 14 inch screen size for portability and weight, the larger screen is helpful in working on excel worksheets. Any consideration of screen size was addressed by the price/value of this model. Battery life and tablet mode makes it usable on an airplane. Still have to get used to Windows 10 but this will come in time.

This is my third Toshiba laptop. Great machine for a right price

Price point compared to other comparable laptops is a great value. The construction feels really solid, much improved from other Toshibas I have had in the past and better than most of the 2-in-1s I tried. Although I did not have setup issues like other users, the computer does not seem to perform anywhere near the specs of the hardware. I am hoping it is software issues following the release of Windows 10 that will be resolved soon as it is too late to return the laptop. There is also a widespread issue with the Intel Wi-Fi chip leading to subpar Wi-Fi connections (old computer, phone, and laptop all get far better connections sometimes over 10x the speed), but many other new computers use the same chip. If you typically use your computer at a far distance from your router, I'd suggest holding out until they resolve this or find a laptop with a different chip.

I bought and recommended a total of 3 of these for family members over the Holidays. After sinking more than 36 hours of troubleshooting and setting up these, I kept getting complaints of sluggish performance from the family. I finally came across quite a few forums discussing the issues related to the Intel Wireless card performing well close to a hotspot and then degrading in performance as you left the vicinity of the wireless router, unless it was a specific group of AC wireless routers. Since the family had whatever Comcast decided to give them, getting a new one was not a cost effective option. I verified this over and over again in different houses compared to both phones and other laptops. Since Windows 10 connects to the internet for everything, this resulted in sluggish performance despite the specs. Too bad because everything else about this Laptop is top notch for the price. Recently they released another driver for the Wireless card but I no longer have the laptops to test. Hope this helps, also, this card is used in other laptops by other manufacturers, it is an Intel AC 7260 series. When shopping you can go to the Control Panel in Windows 10 and then click on the Blue hyperlink to take you to the Device Manager. There you can click on the Network Adapter and see if this is listed. Again, they did release an updated driver that I cannot confirm if it did fix the issue.

Intel i7 core processor, HD 60000 graphics, Windows 10, & a great battery life. For the price I paid of $629.99, this 2-in-1 laptop cannot be beaten.

I have always liked Toshiba. The sound quality is better than any other lap top. A good buy for the price.

Bought in July and have to say that this is a very good buy. Have owned several Toshiba laptops over the last 20 years and this one is my favorite. Wireless, bluetooth work flawlessly, Keyboard lights up nice and bright, the picture is very vivid and crisp, and best of all it is FAST!... Toshiba always has all the same features and quality of more expensive brands and I have never been disappointed... When it comes to laptops, I never look anywhere else.
