Great but could use some standard equipment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speed is satisfactory for the price although it could be faster for what I paid for. The screen resolution is crisp and clear and there is enough ram to multitask till the cows come home. My only beef is that while it does come with hdmi, sd card reader, and a wireless card it DOES NOT come with a disc drive OR ether port. Makes things slightly difficult it you prefer to hardwire your self to the internet and if you like to watch movies on your laptop while on road trips.

Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard doesn't disable on tablet mode and the screen rotation lock is permanently on therefore you have to manually rotate the screen. Therefore technically, not a 2 in1 just a touchscreen laptop. Had to jump to hoops and fire rings for Best buy to extend my return/exchange period because I bought it and brought it with me to Medical School in the Caribbean. Their solution for the first 2 days of arguing: "you'd have to fly back and go to the store where you purchased it within the next 2 days in order for us to be able to exchange it." No wonder they are losing costumers.

not sure if it is the laptop or windows 10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.had so much trouble with the lap top i had to exchange it for a new one. after the exchange everything has been fine however the area where your wrist sits to type is not the most comfortable. this is my first i core 7 and i am happy with the speed it can send my screen to my tv via chromecast and how much faster data transfers from hard drive to hard drive via the usb 3.0 but other then that i think i would like it a lot better with windows 7 i doubt i will ever use the laptop as a tablet as it is a 2 in one but it was the only thing best buy had that had all the bells and whistles i wanted and some i didn't

Problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After only using this laptop for a week the keyboard stopped working. I did some research online and others had the same problem. One blogger suggested holding down the right shift key for 10 seconds which I did and amazingly the keyboard worked. I plan to take the machine back to Best Buys when I am next in the US as I do not think this is acceptable

Not as expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer for college back in August 2015. I've had this computer for about a year, it's been nothing but problems. My last laptop was a Toshiba and also caused me so many issues so I guess I should have changed to something else. Only a month of owning it I was having issues of it restarting randomly during sleep mode, the hard drive "fixing" itself, and not working like it should. Almost a year later I'm still having problems. However, I have been able to use it for school and get things done. Even if it takes a bit of hassling to get the job done. This computer will last me through college hopefully, but my next laptop will NOT be a Toshiba.

So far good computer a few times it has restarted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it's a good computer it has restarted a few times because over load of critical processing crashed but the 2 in 1 features are very cool. It def is thinner than my last laptop and is more convenient to travel with. I think this buy has been good but we see lol.

Sleek. Fast. Good quality image. But... Loud Fan.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are mostly happy with our new laptop. We are happy with everything besides the loud fan. We have other toshibas, but this happens to be much much louder. We are not sure why.

short battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For this expensive of a laptop you would think I would be able to get more than 2 1/2 hours of battery use before the laptop dying. That's during normal Web browsing too.

Just Okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent as Laptop or Tablet, although it's a little bulky to use as a tablet. Pretty slow - seems like it's always buffering. Screen/picture quality is excellent. I would recommend it if you get a good sale price.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery stop charging at 80%. Not an excellent product. I have had Lenovo for 3 years. I miss it. The build quality is good but have complaints. And kinda slow for i8 8GB of RAM.

Love the look and specs but major problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a Toshiba laptop for about 5 and half years. I loved that laptop, it lasted well for the most part so when it came time to purchase a new laptop I was heavily skewed towards buying another Toshiba. I fell in love with this laptop the second a saw it. I loved the way it looked and the image color was great. I loved it even more the first day I took it home. Nothing beats harmon/kardon speakers; the sound was great. But by the second day, doubt set in as I started to discover problems. The machine heats up too quickly. This is particularly a problem when using the laptop in tablet mood. The vents for the laptop are located at the hinge of the laptop so when using it on tablet mood I just had hot air blowing in my face and I couldn't keep the laptop on my lap for long because it was too hot (which defeats the purpose because I won't always be using it on a desk). On top of that, the internet speed/wifi is sometimes slow. Unfortunately I have no choice but to return it. I can't overlook the big issues for great aesthetics and sound.

Posted .Thank you for the review, Chichi, and for being a longtime Toshiba customer!
I was lucky enough to get my hands on this exact model for some testing with Windows 10 today, so I can say with a great degree of confidence that it doesn't normally run hot -- in fact, in the few hours I've used it so far the fan hasn't needed to come on at all. I also checked Wi-Fi speed using speedtest.net and got very respectable results on a corporate Wi-Fi connection (21.80Mbps download speed and 20.84Mbps upload speed.)
You may want to manually run 'Windows Update' (just tap the Windows key and enter those words in the search box to find it) to see if it is still installing updates, since that process can be taxing on networking and overall performance -- possibly enough to heat up the unit a bit if simultaneously doing other work with it. That didn't happen for me, but I wasn't using it while it was installing updates. I suspect you'll find that once Windows has finished installing all pending updates the system will provide the performance you expected.
Finally, if the fan does come on when using the Radius in tablet mode you have the option of flipping the orientation 180-degrees to direct the warm air in the other direction.
Thanks again for the feedback and for choosing Toshiba.

Nice but problem keyboard for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in August as a replacement for my older Toshiba satelllite. I like it, havve not had issues with the wireless others havve written about (although I use it almost exxclusively at homme). What I have a terrible problem with is the keyboard. As you can see from my typing above, the keyboard is too sensitive. I get repeaated letters . I am a very good typist and have nevver had this problem with my other laptop and other pcs. I checked the manual and followed the steps they mmentioned,,and downloaded a new drivver. Have mmodified the repeat settings in the control panel. Then I recently spent 2 hours with tech support, which ran a diagnostic. Nothing has helped and I am bbeyond frustrated as word processing is a lot of what I do. I can hook up a wireless keyboard but would prefer not to. My only other complaint is that they preload it up with apps not wanted, which slows it down I think. Basically I'm sorry I bought it.

2.4ghz not 3.0 ghz
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the specs listed for this laptop put it at a 3.0ghz processor speed. I believe this to be a mistake as the one on my lap right now is 2.4ghz. i feel like i should 20% of my money back if i am only getting 80% of the processor speed i paid for.

Quite slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read reviews before I bought my Toshiba radius. The great reviews convinced me to Purchase it. I like the look of the laptop but it's annoyingly slow, and freezes to a black screen sometimes and I have to restart it, and it's loud there's the fan under it or what I don't know that makes a lot of noise and it's hard to concentrate, but I ended up keeping it because I didn't have time to go looking for a replacement before the expiration date of the receipt, and didn't have a backup if I returned this one. I gave it three stars because it's ok..but not good enough.
