Plug and play, used in a/v cabinet to split internet between game box, blue ray player, tv, reciever and game console. Faster and more reliable than wi-fi.

I bought this because my house is wired using a 10/100 switch. I put this in between the router and the 10/100 switch to provide gigabit to certain locations and it works great. Just as intended with no speed loss.

Decent product. Maybe not automatically as fast similarly priced netgear switches, but it’s metal case is a nice plus if you don’t need the absolute fastest speed.

Never had any problems with this brand or product. I have another one just like it and it's lasted me at least 5 years with no problems. Needed to expand my system and didn't even second guess buying another one.

This is the second one of these that I bought because they work so well and require no set up whatsoever ever. Just plug the power and the Ethernet connections and it’s already working.
