So much better than the new NetGear router that BestBuy took in as a trade. This is the first time I have purchased a TP-Link router. I have been pleased with it. It is reliable which is SOOOOOO important, I have a had a few very minor (less than 5s) hickups a couple of times a week, but this is acceptable for home usage. The only issue I had is with the 6G channel, I can't get any of my newer devices to reconizse the 6G channel and SSID. Support tried to help but we couldn't get it figured out. I have been too busy to spend any more time on it and like I said, it is RELIABLE. I would buy it again,

I don't know that this is as good as what It says but ..Very reliable and fast speeds. Because I'm looking for a second one for my garage. But it's been super reliable and the signal is always pretty darn strong. It may be more than what I need but I really like it and I have zero buyers remorse. I searched and searched and searched and tried mesh and nothing worked very well this has been great.

This Router is a beast! The Range is fantastic. Only lose one bar in the extreme most corner with the most walls in the way. I cant take advantage of Wifi 6E yet, but this router has definitely made me want to get a device that can. I havent had any issues with the software needed to set up this router. I love the notifications I get when a device connects to the network. I appreciate the ease to find settings I need.

I read the reviews on the TP Link-ArcherAXE7800 on the internet before purchase and they all said it was phenomenal. My application is for a two story house. The product is excellent. Lightning fast speeds with excellent coverage. The initial set up was a bit daunting at first, but once I got over that hurdle all was good. Excellent performance and a great price. I would recommend this product without a doubt.

Not loosing wifi on devices anymore. We have 3 gamers in the house and many tvs/computers/mobile phones. I also work from home and we have not had any issues so far. Would recommend!

This thing is a beast my family can stream 4K in every room while me and my brother play video games without lagging or any issues. When we checked internet speeds with an Ethernet cable it was literally just under 1000mbps, and the app is good too.

I had hoped for more from this router as far as signal strength through walls and floors. My ISP's router would easily pull 500 mbs directly in front of it but would drop to 125 mbs through a drywall wall 30 feet away. While it did increase to 195mbs with the Archer axe7800, i had hoped for more with 8 antennas and having had a similar router by one of TP's competitors that went through walls easily and with an exceptional range figured this would be even better. Pros: Set up was not bad and it has limited parental controls and monitoring. Also worth noting, DD-Wrt has no option for this and you will need to pay to use advanced pay features (advanced = anything useful) for parental control, monitoring and security.

Purchased on July 9, 2023 to help evaluate the experience of moving to streaming services. I have purchased TP-Link smart plugs in the past and they have worked flawlessly. I needed to reach out to TP-Link support for the router and they were extremely responsive! I would recommend the purchase of their products based on quality and my recent support experience which was very impressive.

I bought this on Sale, i already had experience with this brand because of my work so I decided to get this one for my home. Best decision I’ve made. My WiFi speeds are way better and no blank spots in my house in term of WiFi connectivity. For 199.99 it a no brainer.

I purchased this because we have 5 game systems, 7 phones, 6 smart tv’s, gaming computer, and laptops connected. The one that came from out internet prover couldn’t handle them all. Have had no issues with this!

Got on sale $199.99. Well worth it. Super fast and easy set up. Getting 1080 megs of 1gig..Highly recommend!

On May 7, 2025, I purchased a TP-Link Archer AXE7800 Router, which I picked up the following day, May 8, 2025. According to Best Buy return policy, the return period concluded on May 23, 2025, just 15 days after pickup. Unfortunately, the router has since become inoperable. When I returned to the store to address the issue, I was informed there was “nothing we can do,” despite the fact that the product failed shortly after the return period. Consequently, I was left with no choice but to purchase another router on June 12, 2025, only 35 days after the original pickup date. As a long-standing Best Buy customer who has spent thousands of dollars annually, both personally and through my company, I find this experience extremely disappointing. I expected greater accountability and support for the products sold by the Best Buy organization, particularly for equipment that fails within such a short time frame. This time, I have opted to purchase a four-year protection plan, though I would have preferred not to be placed in this position in the first place. I trusted Best Buy to offer quality products backed by responsive customer service, and I am now reevaluating that trust.
