Trend security that came along with an iBuyPower computer I bought for my wife. Easy to download and get ready for install. Don't know much about the protection it gives or the efficacy, but it always good to have some peace of mind when surfing the web and visiting a lot of websites of questionable veracity. You just can't be sure of anything out there today. Glad to have virus protection for these perilous times.

I don’t even remember purchasing this but from the way it looks and from what I have looked up it looks like a great antivirus

I picked up this Trend Micro Internet Security software as it came bundled with my new ASUS laptop. Being from a generation that isn't exactly tech-savvy, I figured having some extra protection on my devices couldn't hurt. First off, the installation process was pretty straightforward, which I appreciated. The software supports multiple platforms, so I was able to set it up on my Windows laptop and my old iPad without much fuss. The interface is clean and user-friendly, which is a big plus for someone who isn't all that comfortable with complicated tech stuff. Now, onto the protection capabilities. Trend Micro seems to do a fine job at scanning for viruses and keeping my devices safe. I haven't encountered any major threats, so it's hard to judge its effectiveness in a crisis, but for everyday browsing, it seems to work fine. However, there are a couple of areas where it falls short. The software can be a bit heavy on system resources. My laptop isn't the latest model, so I noticed it slowing down a bit when the software is running a full scan. Additionally, the 6-month subscription feels a bit stingy. It's like they're just giving you a taste before asking for more money. Also, I'm not too keen on the upselling. Every now and then, the software prompts me to upgrade to a more premium version, which can be annoying. I miss the days when you could just buy a product and not be pestered for more money. In conclusion, Trend Micro Internet Security is a decent choice for basic protection, especially if you're not looking for anything too fancy. It's user-friendly and supports multiple devices, which is great. However, the performance impact on older machines and the constant upselling are drawbacks. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars – good but not exceptional.

This is perfect product if you have a lot of money to spend on security and it good reliable and land easy to use I would definitely get this as an add on for your wireless devices from Best Buy .. great prices and great customer service!!!

I wouldn’t normally recommend antivirus software, but this one is actually really good. It’s a lot better than McAfee or any of the bloatware that you get on a new machine.

I'm not a computer expert, but I have definitely experienced problems with Windows computers that stopped working properly because of viruses. I got Trend Micro 6-month subscription for free when I purchased a laptop from Best Buy. As Geek Squad suggested, I immediately deleted the free anti-virus trial that the laptop came with and installed the Trend Micro instead. It was really easy to install, and so far it seems to be doing a good job in regards to keeping the laptop running smoothly without any viruses or other problems popping up. I don't know that there's anything so spectacular about it that I would necessarily pay full price for it, but I would definitely purchase it again at a discounted price if possible in the future.
