Well designed for UPS. Provides enough battery back up to safely close all open programs and shut down your PC.

Battery failed in less than one year

The unit is supposed to have a three (3) year warranty. The battery in mine failed in less than 12 months. I submitted a support request, followed by a video of the unit not working (yes, I know that's dumb but they asked me to send it.) Since then, I have had no response to numerous emails (at least five) over the course of six weeks. They have ghosted me.
I will never buy another Tripp Lite unit, and I would suggest that you consider looking at other makes.

I was suprised when I turned on my projector only to have the computer and monitors reboot from loss of power. In trying to report this to their technical services department, I was overwhelmed with having to know the wattage or amperage of each piece of equipment? Seems to me their technical experts could help a customer with that kind of needed information. Now, I'm left with having to turn off my computer equipment before turning on the TV, and I have no sence of security if this thing is providing any battery backup!
