Needed a Video Editing Software for beginners and found this great package. Found that it maybe a little more technical/sophisticated for my ability. But I think it will create the video that I am looking for, eventually.

I wish the directions were more in depth. It would be easier to understand

Purchased: Dec/2018. Vegas Movie Studio 15 Platinum does not work at all. Every time I load a mp4 file on to the video tracks and hit play, it does not play the video clip. Instead, I only get audio and a black screen. I uninstalled and re-installed it to get the same results. What is going on?!

I love this software, it's super easy to use. It's so easy a 10 year old can use it.

Not really liking this one. I had a previous video program that was much easier to use. This one has such a small preview window so it’s very hard to tell what frames you are including (unless you have a large monitor). I wouldn’t recommend if you are using a smaller laptop. Luckily I bought it during a daily deal so I didn’t spend much for it.

I installed this product for my father last night. I noticed that although the disc and box are labeled as version 15, the actual program is version 13. On top of that, the serial number that is provided in the box begins with different characters than the required serial number does. Thus, we could not activate the software. I do not know if the manufacturer mislabeled a disc or if they're selling old versions of the program as a "Best Buy exclusive". Either way, something like this should not have happened. Best Buy's return policy only allows for identical replacements of open box software. So, we'll see if the replacement has the same problem.
