    Prepaid Verizon Flip Phone

My husband only uses the old type flip phones. He recently broke his so had to order another one. One that broke was same as one that was ordered. My son has the same phone that he uses for business only. There's very few of the prepaid flip phones out there. We only use prepaid Verizon phones in my family. My husband and I really don't like this phone. Had the 1st one for a couple of years. Had issues with it. I wish Verizon would come up with a better prepaid flip phone. Only got another one of same type because that's pretty much all that's offered that doesn't cost a couple of hundreds of dollars. Phone does have great battery life. Good size. Nothing great about camera. But my husband doesn't really use it. When he does, not great.

These earbuds have amazing noise cancellation, great base and treble adjustments to suit your taste. I purchased them to drown out my husband’s snoring and they absolutely do! Wow! I wish they had a lower profile so I could sleep on my side but maybe this can be a future improvement. The sound is amazing though. Must try! Worth the extra money.

Bought for my grandfather. Lasted less than 3 months. Signal issues and sometimes phone won’t ring even when the volume is all the way up. Displays error codes that wont leave after pressing okay until phone is turned all the way off and back on.

    Simply a phone

I have a Pc and I-pad and just wanted a dumb phone for low cost phone calls. This is my third Verizon flip phone -- the other two fell apart after 4-5 years -- the cover tends to break off. However, this newer version appears much more heavy duty. Also, the screen and phone buttons have improved.

This is a very basic phone that I used in an area that was outside Att coverage. It was hard to crack open and insert the battery and it unexpectedly shut down a couple of times. However it did serve its purpose.

Good value for money. However, I could NOT get it activated on Verizon with the SIM that came with the phone. I had to get another SIM card from Best Buy for another $10. Verizon was out of SIM cards locally. Very rugged, excellent battery life. A pain to text on because no on-screen keyboard. Browser is very slow and hard to navigate. Good voice quality

    OK Phone

It works. I use the voice/text, so far so good. The text entry is a bit cumbersome, you select a key, a for example, and then select whether you want an a b or c then hit enter. I had an old Samsung that I dropped many times with no issues. The construction of this phone is more like a smart phone - if it was dropped I think that would be it for the phone. It fits in your front pocket, but is about 50% larger than my old Samsung (10 years old). It will work the next few months until I upgrade to a smart phone. It does have a sim card which is a real good feature. Overall it is better than no phone, but fragile and a little too big for a flip-phone. If I had to do again I would look to get something better, but my phone was broke and I needed to get operational in quick order to return calls.

Simple, easy to use, inexpensive flip phone-with plenty of features. Great for seniors who find smart phones too much. (Re-bought for my 96yo Mom after she sat on it and cracked the hinge; no fault of the phone.)

It serves the purpose for an inexpensive replacement for a phone which no longer holds a charge. The sim card was moved from the old one and we were on our way with the same number and carrier.

    Talk only

It’s a very basic phone; good for talk and minimal text only. It uses Verizon 4GLte. I get better signal strength outdoors than in my own home (1 bar only and sometimes No Service ). I had no difficulty using it when I traveled out of state. The camera is in a terrible place. I frequently get photos of my fingers instead. I couldn’t set up the Verizon app that it comes preloaded with. Battery power is good. I typically charge it only once a week, but that is with very light use. I prefer my former 3G Verizon flip phone over this model, but Verizon forced me to upgrade. With Verizon’s current prepaid discounts, I pay $25+tax per month.

Simple and Easy to Use Basic phone

It's a good basic phone. It is a little slow to respond after button pushes, but that's to be expected. If you're going from a Samsung/Apple product to this, then you will not like it. It's easy to use and the battery life is decent for the price. The only issue I had was with getting it the SimCard to work. I had to eventually get help from Verizon which sent me a new SimCard. I installed it in the phone and everything is working fine.

Pros: Good voice quality No nonsense features Simple, straightforward buttons and layout. Solid build quality Cons - Runs Android, a robust smartphone operating system. Compared to a traditional mobile phone, this hampers battery life, cutting it down significantly compared to more recent non-smart phones - Volume for the ringer is very, very low - First system update was so large, you cannot store pictures before or after.

I got this for my mother to have as an emergency phone. It is what it is for the price. Set up was easy enough and buttons are easy to read for the elderly. My biggest issue was it stopped charging after the first use. Turns out the charging port is so cheaply made that it shifted and became loose immediately.

    Can't activate phone, Help?

It seems like a solid product, but I haven't been able to activate the phone as yet. The activation guide is out of date: Verizon's website and phone numbers have changed, and I can't get my phone number or PIN from Verizon because they keep mis-parsing my email address by using all caps, which means I never get their email. The only good news is that I've had no chance to pay for services I can't use as yet, so no harm done yet. Please forward to Geek Squad.
