Mother-in-law had been getting by with a smaller TV, only about half the surface area, for years. I found this item in the sale area that had been returned and so had no box, but it had everything I was looking for. Mother-in-law is very happy with it! I was very happy with the price!

Took some time setting up for an older friend that is not tech savvy. They are very happy with the gift and found the controls easy to use.

It was easy to set up and the Vizio smart TV part made it easy to stream. The Vizio streaming service has a lot of shows and movies to watch for free.

However, after having it only 6 weeks, the picture went wonky where parts of the screen were obviously much brighter than the rest. That seems to have resolved itself, but I am concerned about it happening again and on a more permanent basis. The sound is very tinny. Since all my tvs decided to stop working within 6 months of each other, this was the third I have bought in that amount of time. This was the most difficult one to set up.

Was doing a little rehab after hip replacement and this helped me get through that period. Great picture, good buy, and sound isn't too bad, although I added a small Vizio sound bar

Visio TV Has Issues

The solution of course is to buy a sound bar that makes watching TV more complicated and also costs almost half what the TV did. The Smart TV part is not so smart. The processor is too slow for the complicated menu system. It turns itself back on after you turn it off; sometimes almost immediately, sometimes after an hour or so. I have to get up after going to bed to cut it back off again.
