This little W.D. SSD has just under 1 Terabyte of storage thats also fast! Transfer rates are great! It also helps that it comes with a 64 Gigabyte thumb drive.

Very small and light....but very good and quick. Using this on a 3.1 USB and my primary use is business type applications (no video or similar intensive needs). For my purposes - an excellent storage device.

With SSD you don't have to worry about moving parts or heat for external hard drives. It's physically small, so it doesn't take much room. The only draw back is the USB cord it comes with is not that long.

Works great. No issues. Fast external ssd for external hd for MSI computer. Light weight and cheaper than adding more hd capacity to laptop for travel.

I purchased this on sale and was unsure if I would keep it. I wound up using the thumbdrive to make a copy of Windows 10 to reinstall the OS on an internal SSD that went bad on my new Cyberpower PC. I then installed this WD SSD on my Xbox One X and I was surprised at the speed. It's not a significant speed increase but it is noticeable. I would recommend this if you want to boost your Xbox experience.

I have enjoyed WD products for portable hard drives and moving to SSD is the way to go. This 1 TB product is of course light weight and the overall form is small enough to fit in your pocket, albeit if you don't mind a square about 3 in x 2 in and minimal depth. I did have a problem with my first one that I had to exchange after it froze and wasn't recognized by the laptop. Prices will drop over time and that will be to the good as the price (here $149) is the limiting factor.

I bought this SSD drive on sale to use as a backup for music files. It is very small and compact and has its own 3.0 connector attached that stores away in the casing. It would have been nice if it was a bit longer, but nonetheless ok. Accessing the music files off of it is very quick and up to now have had n problems with it. Added bonus you get a 64 GB thumb drive for free.

Using this as a spare drive. Small size will fool you but speed won't.

I knew this SSD was going to be small - I mean, look at it next to that USB flash drive - but dang, the unboxing still had me surprised. So far this has delivered the high level of quality I expect from WD. Very good price with this Best Buy exclusive product. Just buy it!

I bought this for my wife to use with hernia Mac Book Pro. This way she doesn't clog up the 1 TB SSD on her Mac. She can use this external for storage until it's full, then transfer her photos to a larger 5 TB for permanent storage. in this fashion her laptop never slows down and she can just keep on taking pictures and storing them
