This is a great hard drive that I have been using for nightly backups with no failures or loss in speed. This is the second WD external HD I have bought and I am fully pleased and will buy others as the need arises.

The WD - My Book 8TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive is fast and with 8TB has plenty of space for all your files. I use it for family pictures, family videos and computer backups. Works great!

So much storage, I am a huge gamer and this solved all my needs with over a 100 Xbox games. My highest recommendation. I do not even use my internal drive anymore.

I needed an external hard drive to backup my network attached storage device. This Hard drive was easy to set up and a great value for the price. Now I have peace of mind since I have a backup of all my files on the NAS.

Drive has a massive capacity! Design is new and seems sturdy. It's well ventilated and doesn't seem to have any issues with connection or heating. Transfer speeds are on par with standard external drives. I'm happy with my purchase!

This hard drive has enough capacity to replace several of my external hard drives. It has a fast transfer rate which makes it easy to move large amounts of data. I have had it running 24/7 since I got it and no problems to report.

I didn't realize how much storage this device has until I started loading it up. I added data from 3 different computers onto this drive and still have room to do it 10 times more. I love it

I use this HDD with my Asus RT-AC6400 as a network file storage and it works great. The USB 3.0 connection is faster even over the network and the access seems pretty quick. I am able to stream over the LAN without any issues.

I bought this to use with my ps5 to store and play my ps4 games and it works really really well. Allows me to store lots of games and it works so im happy

Bought this for my wife’s birthday, thinking it was a wonderful gift idea. However she left it sit in the box for the next month. Not sure why. Then I decided to put it to use and boy am I glad I had it.

I use this 8TB WD hard drive as a back up for my WD 6 TB Cloud. I have 100% redundancy using this system and backing up automatically once a week. Excellent product as all WD products that I have ever purchased.

i needed a large capacity drive and got this one with a good price on sale during one of best buys promotions. excellent deal and a great, speedy hard drive. use it to back up my files from my desktop.

This Hard Drive was just what I was looking for. I did take me a little bit to get it formatted and the software installed on my computer. But it is just what I was looking for.

This is worth it if you need the space! I got this for my PS4 and. Ow I'm set for a long time! Strongly recommend it for PS4 users!
