Great item. Easy install. Perfect for people like me that doesn’t always remember to back up my computer.

If you spent the last 20 years collecting your favorite music and would be heart broken if you lost your data then you need one of these. There is a reason these drives are rated so high.

I have not been disappointed with WD external hard drives and the newest 8 tb hard drive is no exception. It is easy to set up- plug in and use. Its form is sleek and I have pleased both with usage and looks.

Nice size for organizing all the photos and files we have!!! There is plenty of room left over for other documents. We wanted to have a backup just in case something happens and this drive fit the bill!

I picked this unit up for $150, it typically will run you close to $300. Wd makes a 8, 10 and 13 tb model. I've been using western digital for over 10 years now and have not had 1 issue.

Solid and reliable backup drive for a desktop computer. Mines been backing up my PC daily for years now, so I bought another one for my assistant.

Works good, fast enough for backup drive, good bang for buck.

Easy to connect and begin saving data. Not so easy setting up password protection, etc...

I save camera video to hard disks. Usually, with the HD quality, it takes a lot of hard disk space, so the more the better. The 8 TB drive is just what I need to archive a lot of video for the future.

I bought this to replace a Seagate 4TB Game Drive (constant issues with that thing), and am very pleased so far. My only complaint is that it is louder than I thought it would be.

Works fine and I have no problems with it. I also use it with my server and it works as it should! One can even remove the drive and put it into a computer or other devices so don't be afraid to buy it!

A definite need for your Mac computer to store photos and much more since the Mac doesn’t have that much memory

Works great for my MacBook. I reformatted it for a mac and it has tons of storage and is pretty fast.

I bought this for the size / capacity and works well for a backup drive. I does make a bit of sound when on which was a bit dristracting at first before I realized what is was.

This product was a breeze to set up and use. I have backed up a lot of information from several computers and it works flawlessy.

Perfect for all of the things I want to store. I have a large amount of photos that need backing up regularly and this is perfect for it.

I was able to transfer a large number of files and barely used a percentage of the space. I'd be surprised if I filled the drive up within the next few years.

Excellent backup hard drive for photography and business files. 8TB gives huge possibilities for the excellent organization of your files.
