My son encouraged me to purchase an external hard drive. It took a little for me to learn since I had never used one before. I really like it and therefore bought a second one for my daughter.

I usually buy My Passport because I can password protect my data. This drive is even smaller than my previous one. They are ready to use right out of the box. Just plug it in and it is ready.

Have not yet used my "new" backup drive due to all the pressing matters the today's world presents. But my entire purchase experience was perfect in all aspects! Keep on.

Set up on a MAC was not easy for an average person. Im well versed in computers but am not a techie and it was frustrating to set up. Once I got it going, it works well. A bit slower to download bc of the extra step on a Mac, but I was moving some large files.

I have been buying these for years. I am glad that they're now coming in color choices that not only help better organize you're electronics, but give flavor to a room color scheme when using it.

Decent drive. I've purchases about 5 of these over the years and they're all still going. Good value for the money. WD's support is solid. Sadly, the drive died shortly after getting, but the RMA process was fast and simple.

After waiting and waiting and waiting for a backup to finish on my desktop I decided to get one of these. Backup is now finished. I would be still waiting if I did not buy this MUCH faster drive.

I purchased this hard drive for backups of my computers. It will hold more than I needed and I will add to it as needed. Wit the 2TB capacity it will probably hold all I will need for a long time. It is well worth the money.

Works as intended for a usb storage device. Will say it can get slightly hot and the small fan inside makes minimal noise.

Simply put, WD My Passport External USB drives are and have always been the recognized symbol of excellence in USB hard drives. I use them to edit video and have never had a problem. Recommended!

I’ve always used WD passports external drives. My old WD was slowing down somewhat and replaced it with this kind. I am glad I did, as it complimented my XPS computer, it is fast and smooth.

I am a teacher and with all the materials I have I scanned it all in this hard drive from work. I’m able to bring it home and work on it. Saves my Back ache from carrying so much! Best investment ever!

I've got several WD Passports. Use them all the time for photos, videos and backing up my computers. They all work great and are small for storing. I've even bought for presents because the price is reasonable.
