Found this as a clearance item. Guess people care about the color of a backup drive! Easy to install software and quick backup of my 8yr old Samsung laptop running Win10.

What can I say, looks expensive so find it on sale. Picked red because I like the color and I am able to distinguish from the black one I use for another computer.

I purchased this hard drive to put our pictures into. Holds so many to keep as a backup for safety. Works easily with no effort at all.

This product displays the hard-drive content as soon as its plugged up, thats why i like this product. Passport all come with a metal tough casing. another plus.

This replaced a much clunkier 256 MB brick that I had to plug into electric power plus my computer's USB port. I'm going to buy another one for my partner's machine.

We had a "Clean up" of one our computors at the Geek Squad. Our unit needed ALOT of files to be transferred / stored , this was reccomended and it has performed as advertised.

I generally like to have all of my computer files and documents backed up to this device for future references.

While the device is straightforward I'm not happy with the fact I have to have separate software on my machine. The WD software wants to pop-up every time the computer is started.

I wish I waited a few weeks because BestBuy is selling a 5TB External for the same price, same brand. I guess timing is everything. I could've had an extra 3T.

Should have read the description a bit better works great for what it does but lags a bit when you get close to half fun on the hdd

Great little drive at a decent price. Immediately recognized and quite fast.

Its a hard drive, not much to say on it yet, but I was frustrated when I was installing the app on it. It gave me the choice to share data or not, I prefer not to on these things and it asked if I was sure then "experienced problems" installing it. I tried a few times and then gave in and said yes to sharing info part of it, surprise surprise it worked a charm! Just a small thing that reflects how the company works with data retention.

Overall it is great but somehow it broke too fast. I think it needs to be sturdier. I think people might have different story but with me I have different experience. Don’t take my words for it and decide if it is right for you.

Good and liable product. Would buy as many as I need.
