    Fast read and write, use one for media and have another 4TB version as an extra hard drive for Xbox One games.

    I bought my old external hard drive 5 years ago. I am disappointed that it did not last as long as I hope. The wire got looser over time. It is the same brand as this one. I hope this new one will last longer. With the five years I used the 5-terabyte memory, I used about 600 GB. Did not have a lot of games and just backed up my data for schoolwork and I had memory for plenty of movies. So 2-terrabyte is probably all that I would need.
