I am very please with this hard drive. I had a lot of files I wanted to back up, and this has plenty of storage for me to do so. I would recommend it.

Good place to begin if you're looking to back up your work. Especially if it's a lot of pictures. These take a lot of space. The size is great, big enough to locate reasonably easy. While a thumb drive may be able to back up a lot of data, they are also easy to lose.

It works great, no problems with file transfers. Definitely recommend as a functional and budget-friendly option!

Bought it 1 year ago for my ps4, use it for my ps5 now and it still works with no issues.

If you like gaming but don’t have a lot of storage space this is a great, I used it for 3 years now and so far it’s been great.

I think it's the best option to expand the storage and back up data. I brought this one to use as a second backup drive for more storage. I'm very satisfied with this, in terms of value and stability. I strongly recommend this.

Had to get this when recovering files on a corrupt hard drive through Geek Squad. It works well and is a nice small size. I still have everything backed up on an SSD just in case. I don't want anything happening to my files again!

used it to back up a broken laptop. waiting to recieve my new one so i can load uo the pictures back on the new one. then ill use it as an additional drive

It's important to make sure you have ALL your data backed up! This WD Passport 2TB is perfect. It has password protection, easy installation, gives reminders for additional backups and updates on WD app and dashboard displays for all backups!

My Passport External Hard Drive purchase was a must for me. I have been working with my computer for Zoom teaching and have had to move files in order to retain the memory on my computer. This is easy to use and I can retrieve the files if I need them!

I've used this portavle back up and so far is working good, very easy to use, connect and program the back up from my laptop. I took me a few minutes to get everything set up and running, now when I need to back up my files I just plug in the device and work seamlessly.

I have an older 1TB hard drive that is three times the size and requires a power source so I upgraded to the 2TB passport HD and it’s amazing! Transfers large movie files from my computer to this HD in no time! Haven’t had any issues yet except trying to set up the Cloud account to do the backups but not worried about that right now. Overall great product! Would totally buy again.

I purchased this to act as a backup and transfer medium for files from my old PC to my new one. I've had success with Western Digital products in the past and this is no exception.

I use it to store over 70 thousand photos of family going back to WWII that i have scaned pus videos that I have taken since the late 1980's.

Purchased to add an external hard drive to my daughters NVIDIA Shield TV. Provides ample storage and speed to run retro games and act as a PLEX server. Drive is fast enough to allow two people to stream the same movie file both local and remote shared.

I’m assuming it’s excellent. As soon as I take it out of the box and try it out, I’ll let you know. I’m always intimidated when I buy new electronics, and it takes me a while to even open them up.

This is one great decision, I wasn’t sure which to get but I am so very happy I got this one.
