Great external harddrive with a lot of capacity to store my digital photos. It is pre-configured for the Mac so I don't have to be concerned about compatibility. It comes with 17 inch USB-C to USB-C cord and an adapter so that it can be connected to a USB-3 port, if needed.

This is an excellent, high performing product for working with my Macbook Pro and iMac. I have made several purchases of this portable hard drive for my family. I definitely would recommend it as a high priority in keeping your electronics maximizing their performance and ensuring plenty of memory.

This is my 6th WD external drive (several are stored in safety deposit boxes for backup). Using this one to back up my laptop . I have found WD drives like this to be very dependable and easy to use. This one is USB-C so reads and writes very rapidly. Highly recommended!

I bought this to use for with my new desktop Mac for making Time Machine backups. It seems to be perfect for that. It sits unobtrusively behind my monitor, quietly making backups 24/7.

This is easy to use and perfect to back up all the photos that take up all your Gmail drive memory. Our Gmail drives actually do reach capacity when you have a lot of photos to save! I also needed something extra to save photos and files I had on my USB flash drives. This is great!

Before purchasing this beautiful design of micro technology. I was using the WD passport Ultra. My MacBook would read it, however it would disconnect at random times(mainly durIng transfer of large video files). I finally reached my limit and found that WD has a drive just for Mac. Well, I’m now four days in and transferring files with ease. Go buy now!

Bought a new iMac and wanted a new external hard drive for back ups. Have always used Western Digital ones because they have been reliable and easy to set up.

I bought 4 TB storage for my boyfriend who does a lot of photoshop. He has the new Mac book pro so this works for him on the go. It’s a good travel size that holds a lot of storage.
