I have used an electric cooktop for 20 years. This is a replacement cooktop. It is only a few months old and it looks terrible. The surface permanently scratches very easily. Also, we have cloudy marks on the heating area that will not come out even with a cooktop cleaner. Dust shows up on the surface shortly after cleaning. I would say do not buy this product unless you like to not clean it often. Also, it looks bad with the cloudy areas and permanent deep scratches.

Simple install. Does the same thing that similar units for hundreds more do. I highly recommend this cooktop.

The cooktop is difficult to keep clean. It should NOT be this difficult to keep a piece of glass clean! You have to clean it when it is warm or you can't remove even the slightest amount of dirt. We have not split anything or had anything "over-flow" during the cooking process, yet we still have a ring from the pan on the top. We looked at other cook tops that were highger in price, but did not like the fact that the large burners were placed at the back of the top. If you use large burners, pay close attention to the placement before you buy. ALSO, make sure you measure the OPENING of your current unit to make sure the new unit will fit. We had to make quite a few cuts in order to make the new top fit in the hole. It would be nice to have a template supplied!! Hint, HINT Whirlpool!!

good looking unit and works as expected. Easy install. These things are a pain to keep clean, but you should know that going in, and all of the ceramic flat tops have the same issue.

My late stovetop sparked and was in need of all the elements, electrical wiring, terminal blocks, reflector pans, temperature controls and so on. Went and picked this model up, the next best would have been $800 + but more indestructible. This stovetop has reduced our electric bill, cooks well, even used it with our pottery bean pot. But the glass top is difficult to keep clean and feels precarious.

OK unit thus far. Needed to replace older coil element stove top. The only issue and Im not sure if this happens on all newer models, is that the coil elements under the glass, rise to high then to off, back and forth to heat glass space. Instead of a constant lower reading if selected. Not sure if best method, this can sometimes scorch food unless constantly stirred.

The warehouse was built we can only have an electric cooktop. So far I’m very impressed it’s very easy to clean it heats up fast. Only complaint was the installers who were from Best Buy chipped the tile On the wall, and no one even acknowledged it and I was standing right there.

Bought this cook top after having gas cook tops for many years and was very impressed with how quick it takes for the burners to get hot. Compared other brands but this one is definitely good for the price. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is a little hard to keep clean. Would buy this again.

This was my first glass top range purchase and I read a lot of reviews first. It looks great and works awesome. I really like the hot light that even stays on after you cut the burners off if it's warm still. I and my very pleased with it.

It's a easy to clean cooktop, also it heats up very quickly as compared to our older one. Great buy!

Liked the look and price , heats up fast also. I have had it about 2 weeks and no complaints so far !!

This is an excellent cooktop for the price. It may not have all the extra frills, but it works great and looks nice. It heats up very quickly, and I love that it has a light to warn you if the cooktop is hot to the touch, even if the burner is off. The only downside to it really, is that it's difficult to keep it looking spotless, and shiny, but that is an issue with literally every ceramic or glass cooktop, so I didn't mark any points off.

I replaced a 38 yr old coil cook top and was afraid glass wouldn’t heat as fast. It has been amazing! No learning curve and no issues with my pans (with clean bottoms). I really like the oversize front burner. It is a huge update in my kitchen. My electrician had to cut a larger hole in the Corian; it was tedious but he got the job done with no damage.

I needed a replacement for a glass cook top that broke. I didn't want to spend a fortune on it because I've accidentally broken one of these before. The salesperson at BestBuy kindly showed me this model, which just happened to be on sale because it was the floor model. It was a huge markdown and has maybe one tiny scratch on one corner. So far, it's worked well.

Good range, heats up fast and installation is straight forward.

Works well, no issues at all. I'm not sure how long the surface will stay nice looking as some reviews I've read say the surface scratches easily. I've used a cooktop cleaner to hopefully safeguard against scratches, but only time will tell.

This cooktop fits nicely to the place of the previous one. I wish they would have the protection plastic sheet over it like for microwaves. Also the small rubber lines were very fragile, came off by the time the cooktop was in place.

This was an upgrade to the old cooktop we had, and so far it's great. It's a simple but nice design, heats up quickly, and cooks evenly. I like that it has a warning light that is on when the surface is hot, even if the burner is off.

Nice cooktop and a good price. Works with all pot/pan types and we haven’t had any problems with it
