One of the best air conditioning portable unit. The only thing I don’t really like is the exhaust hoses because they are too big but it is fine. If you got a really good handyman or you can do it yourself no issues.

I've been using this product for about a week now and so far so good. It takes up more room than I thought it would, which is important since I live in a small studio apartment. But once I rearrange my setup in here it should be fine. Temperature-wise, it blows in very cold air compared to the window unit I was using before; though, to be fair, that unit was at least 13 years old. It's cold enough that I actually have found myself pulling out a thin blanket once or twice, despite keeping it set to 76 degrees mostly. The downside there is that once it shifts to fan only, it doesn't stay cold for long, & I have to turn it back to the cool setting. I probably just need to set the temperature lower and leave it on cool for longer, even if it means pulling out a blanket or putting on a sweater. Or perhaps add something to insulate the window gap where the tubes go. It would have been nice if it had come with something more insulating, but I will have to look into that before wildfire season kicks in harder anyway. When it comes to noise, it's not bad at all; if anything the only noise issue I find bothersome is the sound it makes as the cool setting switches to fan only. I also haven't noticed any leaking yet or tried the heat setting. So far I am pretty satisfied with the product as the most important thing is just keeping me cool in 90 - 100+ degree weather, which it's doing.

This air conditioner is fantastic. It has an intelligently designed two-hose set up (if yours is a single hose, I feel sorry for you,) and made the room it was in extremely comfortable. Not too loud, a bit bulky, but it certainly fixed our issues with not being allowed to put a wall-mounted AC in our apartment. There is, however, a very big problem. We live in Houston and during this time of year, Houston is fantastically humid. Since this also works as a dehumidifier/condenser as a byproduct of its cooling abilities, it draws moisture out of the air. This isn't a bad deal, except for the fact that once the condensing pan is full, the AC shuts off. And this would happen every four hours. So it's impossible to sleep a full night with this on because the condensation pan fills so quickly. We were sad to see it go, but it unfortunately did not work for our situation. If you live in a drier environment, give it a go. It's wonderful in all other respects.

This air conditioner is very effective in cooling a large (two rooms, hall, and bathroom. (I won't be using it as a heater as I live in a very cold climate, which goes way below the temperatures for which this unit works as heater.) It was very heavy and difficult to get up the stairs and a bit complicated to install (for a non-mechanical person like myself) but well worth it.

If you can overlook Best Buy's incredibly disorganized online customer order department and delayed delivery, this is a decent air conditioning unit. It was ordered for an upstairs bedroom that was exceedingly hot. It cooled the 10x15 room nicely, was easy enough to set up, and fairly quiet. We don't use it unless we have overnight guests, so it is unknown how well it will operate over time.

We use it in our RV, and it works great. Much quieter than the RV A/C, and setting the temp. a little cooler than RV cooler. RV unit does not come on. This fall we will try the heater part of it.

The product I do not have a problem with. The first unit even though the box said white, the item number reflected white, when arrived it was actually gray in color. Ordered another one. Sales representative actually called the manufacturer and was told that particular unit did not come in white. Another trip back to the store and ordered a different model. Neither trip to the store did the manager or whoever approved the transactions said they were sorry that this happened, no apparent concern that I had to make two trips and wait another several weeks before I finally got the unit. The unit finally ordered was actually about $33 dollars more. It would have been nice if the manager had said, Mr. Brown for all your trouble we will write off/cover the additional charge. That would have made me feel better. The sales representative was the ONLY one that showed compassion and concern about this situation and kept apologizing which it was not her fault. A happy customer will tell maybe a few about the service received but a bad experience may be told multiple times. Next time management should be a little more concerned. This is the second feedback I have done with no response from the first. Will still recommend Best Buy but many more instances like this and I will take my business elsewhere

LOVE the duel dehumidifier/air conditioner/heater. Instead of switching out this unit with seasons, it stays in place. Is currently in our second floor bonus room, but we're so happy with it we're purchasing a 2nd for the first floor. Easy install and works like a champ!

Purchased this for my apartment and it has been great! It makes my room amazingly cold. It is very easy to use.

Overall a good unit. The dual hose set up is good to not mix hot exhaust and cool intake. We use it in a fairly large great room and does a decent job cooling a smaller area of it. I'm sure it would be ideal for up to about 25 by 25 foot room at max.

Easy to get setup. Unit that fits in window should come with a gasket to get a better seal. I had to create my own. It is a little louder than I thought it would be. It takes longer than I thought it should to initially cool a room that is smaller than the size I purchased. Thanks

This is our second purchase of a portable unit for our sunroom. Searched numerous stores and sites; chose this unit largely based on the reviews. Very pleased with purchase so far. This unit is much quieter than our previous one and although we’ve only had it for a short time, we are most pleased!

It works well in my 900-square foot duplex. It’s more quiet than I expected!! In spite of 100 degree heat, bad insulation, and single pane windows...it made a hot week nice at home.

Bought at the first sign of California heat and I love it its a bit of an energy sucker and the extra panel to fit into the window is a joke but I appreciate how hard this thing works. Dual hose is where it’s at

This unit met my expectations right out of the box. It is easier to move due to its lighter weight and is quieter than the last two units I've owned. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the high cost. But you get what you pay for these days

We bought is unit to put in our game room and it is perfect. Can wait to test out the heater this winter. We are please with our purchased.

I have not used the unit yet I purchased for a old second home for cooling the downstairs. For the sale price I don’t think I could go wrong.

Promptly shipped - good price - Unit works well in shop and is relatively quiet for amount of cooling or heating.

My other unit that was only 2 years old didn"t cool anymore so I replaced it with this, works great !!
