I've had this General Electric dryer for about two months now, and it’s been a great upgrade. It dries clothes quickly, runs quietly, and is surprisingly energy efficient. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, and the large capacity makes laundry day much easier for my household. So far, I’ve had no issues or complaints — everything works exactly as expected. I highly recommend this dryer to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient machine!

It’s new on the market and I’ve only ran a few loads with it but so far I like it. I’ve only used no frills dryers in the past so its nice to have so many options like this one has. To me, it’s quiet, has been efficient in drying and looks nice and clean. I love that it has an interior light and a reversible door. My only issue so far is that I don’t like that the main, middle knob is harder to turn than the smaller knobs. 4 stars because its still sooo new and because of the middle knob.

Dry very good. spacious dryer hold lots of clothes and dry within the right amount of time

I like General Electric products. My last washer and dryer by GE has lasted me around 15 years or more.

I love it, it’s very spacious I can dry my comforters and it runs quiet except at the end when the buzzer goes off it’s really loud until you get use to it. I recommend you buying .

Dries everything evenly & not wrinkled. Basic & works great. No “sensors” that leave clumps of items still damp. I do have to slam the door a bit to close, not sure why.

Nice dryer. My samsung washer and dryer were falling apart (literally) after only 5 years so I was sick and tired off all the bells and whistles and all ways a machine can start failing. Just wanted a very basic set and this was perfect. Dries quickly. 4 stars out of 5 because it really is pretty loud compared to other machines today and the door you kinda gotta shut hard and Im unsure how that will hold up long term. At least the drum shouldnt start falling apart and ripping clothes to shreds like my samsung one did.

Great dryer. Replacement for a 20 year old Sears Kenmore. I am pleased. Great customer service and installation. I'm spoiled by the old school Kenmore. I am hoping this GE will last a while. I always buy a warranty because you never know what may happen. Things that can be improved.. The timer knob has a lot of tension. That may be an issue to anyone with hand strength issues. The door has to be slammed to close. I think that needs to be changed as it would also cause a person with strength issues a problem.

Very basic controls. The finished drying Alert buzzer is very loud. Lots of room inside for a load and a half if needed. Quiet smooth operation. With 10 kids it's a commercial dryer value. I love the anti wrinkle tumble function when I need it.

So far, so good, my old dryer only lasted 10 years, see how long this one lasts. The installer however did not replace the dryer vent to the outside, he said the item was not long enough but it expanded to 8 feet, my dryer is only 4 feet from the wall to the outside. I was not happy about this.

My first order was delivered on 6/4. We used this machine for two days and noticed that the clothes weren't totally dry. We tested. We run the dryer in full heat for 80 min, and clothes weren't dry. We run another 80 min and still not totally dry. I felt heat inside, but it was not working. I contacted Best Buy and requested them to send someone for investigation. They offered return and replace instead. I agreed and waited for two days to exchange the unit. After installation of the new one, I run the normal cycle with a load of wash. The new unit was working fine. I did not have to use full heat, nor timed dry. I run the regular running cycle. I am sure the first unit was defective. I was reading the review and noticed that someone else had the same issue. Run it for 80 min but not dry. I assume it is a good machine as long as it is not defective, although, if multiple people had the same issue, it is not a quality product. I rated three stars with mixed feeling. If I received a good unit at my first delivery, I probably would have rated it 4 or 5 stars. Knowing there are defective products out there, I can not give it more than 3 stars. The manufacturer should collect what they had shipped to Best Buy and re-test each unit. Defective units should not be out there wasting people's time.

Works well. Gets the job done and fast. I only wish the door felt more sturdy.

So far so good. Though the door closure take extra push to close WHICH IS ANNOYING

Currently, the dryer is working perfectly and drying the clothes even better than the other dryer. My family is extremely happy about the purchase. More importantly, look forward to obtaining any future appliances if and when needed.

Simple function, just the right technology I want, it does dry up the clothes and the alarm can be adjusted to low or loud volume. Hopefully, it will last longer than the high tech. dryer.
