Positives:
Very easy setup
Small form factor
Solid construction. Very well made. Nice fit and feel.
Lots of integration options
Excellent sound quality at all volume levels
Good Yamaha iOS app to control and set up system
Good third party MacOS apps to integrate MusicCast control with your Mac computer.
Easy control of the system with minimalist front face controls or included remote.
SOLID PERFORMANCE. The system is on 13-14 hours a day every day for the past several months and it has NEVER glitched or lost connection.
Cons:
Expensive but you get what you pay for,
Remote is cheap. Although it controls what you need easily, it is made of cheap materials and is flimsy. The reason probably is if you are buying this unit, you likely have an all in one remote for all your components and will put the Yamaha remote in a drawer which is exactly what I did.
Overall this fit all my needs and more after researching all the different brands out there. I looked at the Sonos (way too expensive for what it is), SVS (read lots of complaints their app needs work and refinement) and some ultra premium brands (way too expensive for that little extra refinement. Remember this is primarily a streaming device).

Purchased for use in bedroom of motor home. Small footprint perfect for small space under tv. Primary use is to drive two 4 ohm speakers I built to play flac music files (3000+) stored on a 128 gig SanDisk Ultra Fit. The iPhone/iPad app is nice - takes a little time to load album folders, but acceptable. App could use a few more features. Sound quality at low volume is ultra clear and higher volume is not distorted. Accurate low's, mid's and high's. High's were a little harsh, but that is a tweeter problem (need to add a resistor). Other option that I was looking at was a $2000 Sony music player, so price difference makes this a great deal! Bios update went uneventful. Well pleased so far with longevity to be determined.
