It doesn't split all kind of signals
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Unfortunately this device won't split HDMI signal for my main purpose because it is very conscious about copyrights protection

Please Read and Save Yourself the Headache!
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Wow! Absolute garbage. I made sure to read all the product requirements before I purchased. I have my computer hooked to two different monitors. If I close a tab on the computer (mirrored to the two screens), it blanks to the pixelated rainbow! (picture attached). Then I have to reset it by unplugging and re-plugging the unit or HDMI cables. Even when It's working, It still blacks-out for 2-3 seconds every 15 minutes or so. Useless. Don't waste your money.

Excellent
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.this was just what i needed. It replicates the signal of an hdmi input in two equal ones. I am replicating the signal of a camera for the switcher and another for the zoom.

Good product, user mistake
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I purchased this product only a few days ago. The product itself works great, it was me that bought the wrong thing. I would like to point out that the product was sold to me in a very beaten up box and sold to me at the full price. Nothing on my receipt sad anything about the products box being damaged before my purchase.

Great way to watch sports
||Posted .I brought this HDMI Splitter so I can watch two TVs at once while NFL games are played. I like the fact that I can see two TVs in my Mancave and get that in store feeling or I can view them separately. It works so well I have been getting offers to do the same set up for friends and family. It’s works seamlessly with no lagging or feed back, unlike cheaper models.

Know what you need it for...
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This WILL NOT give you "dual monitors" when working from a laptop. It will give you two monitors with the exact same image as your laptop. I could see this being valuable for someone who has multiple TVs and they want the same image on all while only controlling one.

Q: QuestionHello! I want to add 2 monitors to my laptop. Will this product allow me to extend my display to 2 monitors with 1 hdmi port on my computer? I want to see different things on each monitor. Thank you!
Asked by Extend.
- A:Answer No, this will only allow you to duplicate 1 source onto 2 screens. To my knowledge, there is no simple way to do what you want to do (split 1 HDMI signal into 2 separate independent signals). There may be a way to do this through USB ports, but the quality would be questionable. If you have a laptop that is compatible with a docking station, some docking stations come with 2 HDMI ports and would potentially allow for what you are attempting to do. Also, if you happen to have a DVI port on your laptop, there are converters for switching DVI ports to HDMI ports. I am certainly no expert, and there could be some device relessed tomorrow that allows for what you are asking, but this is what I gathered back when I was originally researching this product about where this stands today.

Q: QuestionI only have 1 HDMI plug on my old TV to which Fios box is connected, so I can't plug Apple TV. Will this device allow me to plug Fios + Apple TV if I plug it in the TV ? Thanks.
Asked by Georges.
- A:Answer No. This device splits a signal to 2 different TVs. What you're looking for is an HDMI switch. A switch takes multiple signals and let's you choose which 1 you want to see on you're TV through 1 input.

Q: QuestionI am splitting from a FireStick to a projector and a TV. Would I get audio on both devices or just image?
Asked by Charles.
- A:Answer The splitter puts out both audio and video from both HDMI out ports. I have mine hooked up to 2 TVs and both get audio and video. If i am watching on one TV and turn on the other. there will be a short (few seconds) loss of connection while the other connection is made. Then both work at once with no degradation of signal.
