Misleading packaging

I also bought this cable as a replacement for a misplaced sync cable, and found out the hard way that it does NOT sync with the Palm. At the time i first purchased the unit i was in a bit of a hurry at work and tossed the packaging. Therefore I am stuck with a usb charging cable. In that regard it works fine, and as previously mentioned the quality of materials is quite good. Nice price, good quailty, too bad it does not perform as advertised

Package Incorrectly Marked

Package is marked that it syncs - in fact it is not wired to sync - only the power contacts are hot. False packaging. Returned it for refund. Pity, quality of materials is excellent.

I bought this cable as a replacement for my lost sync cable. Upon hooking it up, it failed to charge or sync my palm Centro. I reinstalled palm software and it still did not work. I returned it to the store and would suggest best buy not sell this product any more!

Bought this cable over the weekend, and it charges my Treo fine but hotsync fails. Still using Bluetooth sync (which works) and will be taking the cable back today or tomorrow when I can make time.
