A: Yes you can. I am typing with it and the cover folded behind the phone now. It's a great case and cover.

Q: How do we change default display clock on the phone? I know phone related but only when you put the case so..

A: If you go to, Settings-lock screen and security-Always on Display, you can select Digital, Analog, Calender, Picture...etc. You can also change the time it turns on and off. There is an alternative, you can do a theme selection that changes everything, or just the Always On Display. Go to Settings-wallpapers and Themes, and at the bottom it gives you options. Select either Themes, or AOD(always on display) for pay and free options. I hope this was helpful

Samsung - S View Folio Case for Samsung Galaxy Not
This review is for the Orchid Gray color. I splurged on the Samsung case because you could stand up the phone horizontally which is great for viewing videos. When open, the phone does not slide off. It stays in place very nicely. Unfortunately the volume control in under the bottom edge of the phone so you have to open it up to increase/decrease the sound. I would have given it a 5 star rating if you had the ability to take pictures without having to open up the case. My Samsung Note 4 case did that and it was very convenient. Colors limited to Black or Orchid Gray, neither of which is very exciting.

Nice case
This is a nice case for your Samsung galaxy note 8.the extra padding on the reverse side of the front flap gives an added assurance that you will receive minimal scratches on the screen.if I could change only one thing it would be the placement of the finger print scanner on the phone...the case I would not change anything.i love how I can answer a phone call with out even opening the case.
