Excellent Music, The German Blind Guardian Band hired to record tracks for this game definatly did an amazing job. There is a nice amount of difficulties that provide different amounts of challenge based on the level of your character and your overall gaming expierience. The world is huge with an amazingly large amount of sidequests, not to mention the level cap of 200 can keep you playing until your old. The graphics are about average, excelling around the enviorments but faultering more toward the characters. The voice acting is just ok, and some of the cheesy comedy reduces the overall game expierience. Only 6 classes leaves me wanting more but rumors of an expansion have been noted. Multiplayer is well put together on the console with only a few minor glitches with connection. Bottom line is if you have someone to play it with, it is a definant buy, if not unfortunatly I cant recommend any other game here. While Sacred 2 may be lacking in certain areas it is the only game of its kind on the Xbox 360, so if your interested in games of this type go for it.

i got this game for ps3 and i have played the 360 version as well. at first i thought it was horrible. i had the ps3 on my standard old tube tv and i couldnt read the words in the quest log. they were blurry. a friend of mine had the same issue on the 360. i got a new hd widescreen tv and still had the issues. it was resolved when i used an hdmi cable instead of the standard audio visual cables. since then the game has greatly improved though i find it bad to have to have an HDMI cable to read words in a game. talk about pushing the more expensince technology. i am glad that i purchased it though, it has improved all the graphics of all my games.
sacred 2, if you never played the 1st sacred, is comparable to diablo 2, champions of norrath, or the baldurs gate series. it is a great rpg game set ina detailed world. something both xbox and playstation need for the next gen consoles. the easiest way to desribe it is a hack and slash rpg. there are alot of items and weopons in the game, and different characters to choose from, though i miss the characters from the origional sacred. the game also supports co-op play on one system and 4 co-op play on line over the internet. i would recommend buying the game if you like rpg games or are a fan of any game i related it to. if you have any graphical problems it isnt the game (sorta) or your system, it just needs to be used with an hd tv and an hdmi cable. really fun, over 22 miles of world to explore, excluding caves and dungeons. there is A TON of things to keep you busy. BUY IT.

I'll be honest here. I didn't play this game for much more than an hour before deciding to write a review about it so I can't say anything about challenge or length.
You start the game with an extremely minimalistic tutorial which, for me, consisted of hurling a single, poorly rendered fireball at a fellow apprentice. You then are "graduated" from school and sent out into the world. A more in depth tutorial with an option to skip it on subsequent replays would have been nice.
Out in the world, I found the camera control to be extremely limiting. I generally didn't see enemies until I was close enough for them to sense and start attacking. Too often, I was being attacked by knife throwers from off screen. I started spending most of my play time watching the mini map for red triangles to pop up.
The camera never levels out to the horizon, or even close to it. It was very hard to see where I was going, again having to rely on the mini map.
There was also an odd peek through effect whenever trees or something else got in the camera's way, further obscuring your view of any potential enemies or other aspects of the environment.
The spell particle effects were awful. I've seen better effects in java applet games. My level one fireball had an honest to god black opaque smoke trail and followed a slow spiral type flight path. I have computer games from 15 years ago with better effects.
Anyway, I could live with the sub par effects. The world and characters are rendered okay, but the camera and field of view really destroyed any good game play for me. Reliance on the mini map is too high. I did get a couple of laughs from the dialogue I caught my character saying.

The game is very similar to Sacred 1, a hack and slash style role-playing game. It requires a HDTV to really play it as the words are unintelligble otherwise. While the game is fun with plenty of quests and a storyline playable from the good or evil side the game has one fatal flaw. The save game feature errors out occasionally requiring you to delete your characters.
I have researched this issue online and there appears to be an easy fix for PC users, however after downloading the available patches on my xbox the saved game feature continued to corrupt my file. After several attempts I gave up and returned the game.

I bought this today thinking it would be really cool. I had looked up reviews everywhere and most people said it was not for everyone. I am a big rpg fan and when I heard about this game i was very excited. As i started to play it seemed really fun. There is a huge map that i thought would be cool. It turns out that you have to travel to get there every time instead of getting there instantly. A few places on the map you can go to instantly but all the other spots you have to walk for 20 minutes just to get to that spot, that you will only stay in for 5 minutes. This game is about 70% walking. I think no one should ever buy this game. It sucks BAD!!!!!!!!

This game is awesome. It is not all about walking around and trying to walk 20 minutes to find the town you need to go to. All you have to do is buy a mount, and you can get where ever you want to go much faster. If you liked diablo, you are sure to fall in love with this game.

Suprise, suprise. This game is actually better than the PC version. Although that might be expected since more time was put into this version. This is a great RPG due to the online co-op.
There are six different classes to play. The story is horrible (if the player even pays attention to it). The entertainment in this game comes from the environment and the classic fun that comes from grinding.
The size of this game is truly epic. The player can easily spend a months worth of time and still not be bored. If the player find's themselves to over powered than they can adjust the difficulty. The combats not the best but the player won't notice that with the massive world to explore. The combat is rather simple in the fact that there is the usual melee combos and the typical magic attacks.
This game is fun but not the best when compared to other RPG epics. The combat is lacking and the framerate is too. Some magic abilities felt complicated to pull off and the AI isn't the best. But, if you love to grind this is the game for you.

Overall this game is flying under the radar. This game has the potential to provide days if not months of playing time. Value-wise it is an excellent buy. It reminds me very much of old school Diablo and Diablo 2, which is high praise.
