And if you are referring to whether or not you may place an otterbox on top of this case, while it is on your device, then the answer would be no, as this case was designed to be installed onto your device, without another case being installed on top of it.

Q: Is this compatible with the Apple Pencil? It seems to be enclosed on all sides in some photos but then there's a photo showing the apple pencil attached and charging. Which is it?

Not bad!
Okay so it’s really hard to find a case with a hand slot. Therefore I give it 3 stars bc the concept is great! The stand feature isn’t sturdy when placed vertical- and the plastic protector doesn’t lock In place like it should until it’s fitted into the hard plastic outer cover. I do however like how the cover is built in for the charger- that’s a nice protection feature. I returned the old and reordered this again to see if the plastic inside cover is made differently and allows me to lock it before placing it into the outer cover. So I’ll review once I get it- and let you know. But overall this does a nice job to hold the iPad 12.9 (3rd generation) the strap itself is sturdy and the rotation is nice to have on a heavy iPad. It just feels safer to hold. Just note that it is a pain to put together. But is good overall.

It’s clear!
Overall, this does a nice job to hold my iPad (12.9 3rd generation). The case is pretty bendable but once I put it on, it seems to protect the iPad and corners.

Great quality case, but inaccurate description.
This is a case for the large previous generation iPad Pro 12.9, the one with the home button. The images and listing imply it fits the 12.9 model with no home button but it is entirely incorrect. If you have the borderless display do not buy this, it’s much too big.
