A: Mine is absolutely quiet. Only noise was first day when new ice cubes were filling the empty unit. No noise since.
Q: How do I know if finish is smudge proof?
A: The RF23HCEDBSR has a real stainless steel finish that is not fingerprint or smudgeproof. There are, however, a number of products available specifically designed to clean real stainless steel. Simply follow the instructions on the package. Another option is to apply a small amount of baby oil to the stainless finish using a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. This will not only clean the stainless steel, but can help prevent fingerprints from recurring. Thanks for your question, Ms. Samsung
A: It sounds like your fridge is in Demo mode. Try pressing and holding the top 2 left buttons (Freezer and Alarm) for about 5 seconds until you hear a chime and it no longer says "OFF"
Q: How do you remove the ice bucket in this model?
A: Pull UP and OUT on ice bin front...it will slide out. Kinda funky with no where to grab. Didn't want to stick my fingers in the grinding exit hole. Just grab hold of the whole face.

A: No icemaker in the freezer at the bottom - only up top
