A: Everyone is asking this question, and SAMSUNG is clearly avoiding giving us any kind of answer. There are no photos of the panels on the panel listings (only colors). Nor is there a photo of the panel-ready fridge without panels. This is the last bit of information that I need before making the purchase, but all I hear is crickets...
A: From front to back the door frame is tallest point, then the plate on top of the hinge, then the frame of fridge to back. I attached photo

Q: What color are the SIDE panels of this model?
A: The Refrigerator comes OUT OF THE BOX in the Graphite Black color but on the front, the areas where the front panels WOULD be are empty with an aluminum looking frame and panel. So the body is graphite/black.
A: it is not as shiny, and is still very close in comparison.
Q: Can you add your own custom cabinet panels, or is it only compatible with Samsung panels?

A: I previously answered this question and reported that it coould not hold a gallon container. That was based on my faulty memory. I went back and actually tried to put a gallon milk container and it did fit easily. Sorry for the confusion.
