A: The off angle picture on the Q6 is horrible, so unless everyone is directly in front of the TV, the blacks and contrast will not be as good as the Q7. The Q7 has the one connect box and almost zero mount. I spent 2 hours looking at LG’s Super UHD and the Samsung Q7. I went for the Q7.
Q: Does the 1 connect box need ventilation or can it be put in a confined area? Thanks, Mike.
A: I noticed no heat coming from the connect one box whatsoever. I have mine place inside a cabinet with very little ventilation and I checked it for you and it was cool to the touch.
A: There is a 2017 and 2018 model year. Both are a Q. The 2018 has some nice exter features. Go for the 18!
A: I would look for an Optical audio to RCA connector.
A: The TV supports MSC (Mass Storage Class) USB devices only. MSC is a class designation for mass storage devices. Types of MSC devices include external hard drives, flash card readers, and digital cameras. (USB hubs are not supported.) The TV supports the FAT, exFAT, and NTFS file systems.

Q: You Sold me on the Samsung 55in Q7 vs. the Q6 55 in. Now the Q7 55 in vs Sony X900F 55in.
A: Buy the X900E... better refresh rate (in person) and reliability. The Qled is just brighter... that's it. and mine broke after a year.
A: 8f is later edition of 7f. I like the Samsung brand better than the Sony.
