Q: why is the dryer not getting hot
A: undefined
Q: Do you have to use the steam feature or can you still use dryer without hooking up the water line?
A: We didn't connect the steam line. It works great!
Q: How to hook up if it is across the room from washer?
A: if you have a basement run a water line under the floor then back up to dryer
Q: What are the missing accessories. Also what is the height & width?
A: Well i bought a 4 prong 240 power cord for it and a dryer vent kit that included the dryer vent hose and fittings i needed for it but thats all i needed.
Q: where is the exhaust vent ? Middle of machine? Right side? Left side?
A: It comes out of the back on the right side about 3 inches off the floor, however you can get vent relocation kit and vent it out of the left side, right side, or the bottom. I have mine vented out the bottom.
Q: Can a countertop be installed on top of this dryer?
A: I'm pretty sure those measurements are for a closed in area such as a small closet with a door that closes because I seem to remember I read somewhere in the owner's manual where they recommend even leaving your door open/cracked when you use the washer/dryer. There's a sensor on the dryer that measures airflow.
Q: the steam function uses a water reservoir or need a water supply hose
A: The DV45H6300EW comes with the water supply hose and Y-connector needed to access fresh water for the Steam feature, rather than storing water in a reservoir. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
