A: Yes it needs a hose. No it does not come with it. It does come with the "Y" connector though. I was disappointed about no hose that but bought a nice stainless steel weave for about $14 at Home Depot.
Q: does this dryer is enough to dry a big comforter?
A: Yes, it is big enough to fit a comforter...HOWEVER, be warned of the infamous Samsung Burrito! This is a major flaw with the Dryer, in that it will roll the comforter, blankets, sheets, or anything of size into a wad of clothing and will not dry properly!!! Google Samsung Burrito and you'll read/see for yourself.
