Sleek, Thin and Sturdy. The best laptop I ever had. The battery life is pretty good and i can work all day with it. I also love the keyboard, it has a nice feel to it and looks high quality. The camera is very clear for videos and pictures. The performance is fast. I used multiple application at the same time, and don't see any lag in performance. I like the advanced features like the Touchscreen. Surfing internet is fun with this laptop, watching videos with great screen display and audio. And even for office work, it is very reliable. Very advance that i can use it like a tablet with the touchscreen feature. I can also use it as a computer with its keyboard. I would be very proud to bring this anywhere i go. Fancy looking, high end, lightweight and has the perfect size. Samsung did a great job with this Laptop

So far this laptop has exceeded my expectations. The 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage aren't mind blowing, but are definitely capable of handling your day to day activities without concern. There is expandable memory via the MicroSD card slot. Also, I have many of my documents saved to cloud storage so that isn't a concern because of the Always Connected LTE feature. The 13.3" 1080p screen is clear and bright. I have been able to use it outside comfortably. It comes with two speakers on the side, tuned by AKG, which are nice and loud. Since they are on the sides, media with stereo separation sounds great which is an added bonus especially when watching movies. There is a Dolby Atmos app which makes the sound profile a little more dynamic and adds some additional volume. On each side of the laptop there is a USB-C port which can be used for charging as well as connecting peripherals. If you have regular USB-A devices like external hard drives, there is am adapter included. Battery life on the Galaxy Book S is incredible. On average, I've been getting through two days of work with a little bit of juice still left in the tank. This is mainly due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx processor. This is a double edged sword if you don't know what you are getting into. This processor makes great battery life and LTE connectivity possible, but because it is an ARM based processor the Windows experience is not typical. Not all programs are built for this type of processor which can be a problem . All this in a 2 pound package is well worth it for me though. Everything I need for work runs just fine and you can install web apps via Microsoft Edge or Chrome to create an app like experience for things like Netflix, Google Play, and Stadia. There are only three concerns I had. 1) I like having Photoshop, but I don't use it often anymore and I did find an app alternative that suits most of my needs. 2) I occasionally play games which this is definitely not built for. I started using Google Stadia with this computer, which works surprisingly well, but has its own limits. 3) The keyboard takes some getting used to. The key strokes are shallow and the backlighting isn't phenomenal, but after a week of use I'm almost 100% comfortable using it. As long as you know the limitations with an ARM processor this always connected laptop is the perfect blend of portability and productivity. It boots so quickly and has been able to handle everything I have thrown at it. The build quality is also just awesome. I went in knowing it wasn't a gaming laptop and that is actually a really great thing because I have one of those but needed something that was actually portable that I wouldn't mind taking with me wherever I go. It is impressively light, so much so I was beyond impressed that there was no flex when using the keyboard without much, if any, support for it. I was able to use MS Office and also use it for extensive web browsing and just getting stuff done. The battery life is another area where it really just shines. I could easily get through a full day doing work and browsing the internet without every worrying about needing to charge it or worrying it would run down. Finally, the speakers on this thing are just fantastic! I was blown away by just how good they sound and watching movies and videos on this was such a delight. Everything was crystal clear from the awesome picture quality to the sound. I honestly find this laptop to be my new go to laptop, even more so than my gaming laptop and even when at the house but most definitely when on the go.

The Galaxy Book S is sleek, light as feather and incredibly smooth. I was quite impressed with the battery life and it was one of the first things that I tested out. I watched a full movie and the battery barely budged. I then watched two more movies and used about a quarter of my battery. Thats phenomenal. I like that it charges with the same USB C cord that my phones uses and you can add up to 1TB of memory. The Samsung Galaxy Book S has a great premium quality, look, and feel. Mine came in mercury gray. The laptop is made from anodized aluminum, which in itself is a great achievement that makes it weigh just 2.18 lbs. The battery life in this laptop is amazing as I easily get around 16 hours from a single charge. It has an LTE connectivity which is useful for where there is no WiFi. This laptop has a great HD display at 1080p. The audio quality is very crisp. The ARM processor packs enough punch. I can do most of my work using the browser. The 720p camera is still great and able to make high quality videos and shots. For me, the only downside to this laptop is the shallow depth of the keyboard. The first thing you will notice about the Galaxy Book S is its build quality. The screen is backed by what feels like a sturdy aluminum shell. The keyboard has a great tactile feel to it, and the display is clear and sharp. The power button in the top right of the keyboard doubles as a fingerprint reader. When folded up the device is less than 1/2 in thick and the aluminum top makes it durable. It weighs just enough to let you know it is made of quality materials but not enough to weigh you down. I have been using this thing at work, at home, and everywhere in between. Battery life so far has been great and since it charges via USB-C, you can plug it into your car’s charger on a road trip and have never ending juice! For such a small tablet/laptop it has outstanding sound. A headphone jack and Bluetooth functionality make watching movies or other content on the go super easy. The Windows operating system is snappy and familiar as it works essentially the same as your PC. My Galaxy Book S has been seeing the most use as the perfect distance education device. All three of the kids have been doing school via different distance learning mediums. The touch screen makes it easy and intuitive for our youngest to use and the device is powerful enough to handle all the apps/software the older kids use. The 720P camera, headphone connection, and Bluetooth make Zoom meetings for school a breeze. The ability to add a Bluetooth mouse when you are deskbound helps with games and other entertainment functions. My two older kids play Roblox on this thing all the time! I have owned several Samsung tablets over the years, and still own two older ones. I also own two laptops. I find myself and the kids preferring the Galaxy Book S over all the other devices due mostly to its versatility and sheer convenience. You can use it anywhere for almost anything. It has replaced at least three of my other devices. I will be purchasing a second Galaxy Book S so we don’t have to split time with just this one. If you are considering a tablet or phablet, or smaller laptop. Give this thing a look, it is worth your time.

The Samsung Galaxy Book S (Qualcomm version) is a well built, light weight travel companion with LTE. It's a perfect laptop for certain use cases, and horrible for others. Best Use Case: answering emails and opening Excel files in a coffee shop. Because of the ARM processor, the battery life is fantastic. Using it to answer emails, browse the web, manipulate small Excel datasets and chat on Teams, I would typically get about 9 hours of battery. This is the only laptop I have used where I don't need to re-charge mid-day. It's super light, so tossing it in a bag or just carrying it around doesn't get tiresome. If you treat the Book S more like a Chromebook, and live inside a browser then you won't run into performance issues. Now that Microsoft Edge is build on Chrome, being stuck with Edge went from an "ugh" to an "this may actually be even better than Chrome, or at least doable". If you have to get work done, and that work lives in the Microsoft Office suite, then you will have pretty good performance and not run into compatibility issues. And! LTE! Worst Use Case: I need to edit video, I only use Chrome, and I am about to type a 10 page essay. Since this is using an ARM processor, there are all sorts of Windows programs that simply won't run. If you don't view this like a Chromebook and expect it to just run whatever finance, writing or video editing program you have, make sure you look the compatibility up first. The thinness is great, but that doesn't leave much space for the keyboard, which is shallow and began to hurt my hands after long periods of typing. Bottom line: treat this like a Chromebook for running Windows programs, and you have yourself a five star winner. Treat this like a full Windows laptop, and you have a 3 star stinker.

Upon arrival, I was impressed with how lightweight it is. I also liked that it included everything that I would need to work from anywhere. The main thing I love about the Galaxy Book S is the screen resolution. Its screen produces a crisp and beautiful image. Which makes not only working but streaming movies and videos great! I also love its size, it fits perfectly in my shoulder bag and because of its weight, I can carry it for long periods of time. Another great thing about it is how fast it boots. And it handled everything I did on it nicely. This laptop has a capacity of 256 / 512GB SSD, two USB-C ports, and a headphones jack. The keyboard offers a great experience with its smooth shallow keystroke. Something else that I really liked about it is that its quiet. Thanks to its ARM chip that is energy efficient this laptop doesn't need a cooling fan. So even if my little guy is napping right next to me I can work without waking him up. I also can't forget to mention that the trackpad is very responsive, which makes using it amazing! This is definitely a great laptop that will get you through a full day of work plus fun things like watching movies and videos. This is definitely something that I know I will recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight and powerful laptop. Because it's from Samsung I am not surprised that it not only met my expectations it exceeded them.
