Excellent Tablet
I just received my new tablet a couple of days ago, so I haven't had a chance to truly get used to it. However, during the very simple set up procedures, it synced with my Samsung S4 Active account and copied all of the information over to it, including all of my downloaded apps. What a great feature! My first impressions: 1) The screen on this tablet is awesome! It's big, bold and bright. 2) After reading about how heavy this unit was I was pleasantly surprised at how light and thin it actually was. I can see how comparing it to a regular tablet might make it seem to be heavy, but it wasn't. Even if it was, what else would expect from a 12.2" screen? 3) Overall, it still seemed lighter to me than my wife's full sized iPad. I was very surprised at how long the battery lasted. I had the screen set to max brightness, watched videos and surfed the web for several hours and it still registered over 70% life left. Impressive. 4) I liked having the home and back buttons at the bottom when held in a landscape configuration. They were easy to use and came in handy. 5) There is not true user manual that comes with it, but it’s very easy to figure out. Anything I wasn’t sure of, I just used the Google speech to search to find the answer. 6) I like the volume buttons on top of the unit. Very handy. 7) I wasn’t too sure of the “Windows 8” look; however I was happy to find a button at the bottom that took me straight to my apps. You can also swipe from the right side of the screen for an easy menu. Some things I wish it had: 1) I wish it had come with more on board memory. For this price and size, I’m surprised it maxed out at 64MB. I know I can add an SD card, but felt this unit should have had more from the start. 2) Why didn’t the wireless version come with the faster processer like the LTE version? It may make sense to the company, but not to me as an end user. 3) I wish the S Pen would have been a little larger. 4) A lower price. This was an expensive unit. I felt the price should have been $100 less, but I was glad to see it was a lot cheaper than in the UK at least. Also, my Reward Zone gift certificates helped pay for it. The only issue I had so far was a damaged first unit. Yes, after waiting for over a month of it being on back order (after a pre-order wait), I finally received my new Notebook Pro 12.2 and found it to be dented on the back of the case. It had a slight indent as well as a bulge. However, thanks to Best Buy's awesome customer service, I had a brand new one the very next day at no extra charge for expedited shipping. I couldn't have asked for more! Overall, I’m very happy with this unit so far and look forward to having it when I travel. It will take me a while to unlock all of its potential, but that’s not a fault of the product, just a lack of free time on my part. I think you would be very pleased if you purchased one for yourself.

spectacular pictures easy to use
Being able to go to Best Buy an ask a question at Samsung counter is an enjoyable experience. To have knowledgeable people explain, show me how to do what I want to do, without hesitation is a new experience for me. I am the owner of 4 Samsung devices as a result of my experience of this amazing customer service. My wife is giving away her iPad air to a grandson. We started with 2 Samsung S5 phones and discovered the customer service was wonderful. All 4 of our devices synced together. We have 2 Samsung tablets a 10 in. and this wonderful Samsung tablet 12.2. All 4 of our devices synced together and working beautifully. When I discover new uses for the tablet or phone the customer service counter helps me when I get stuck. How could I say more other than as someone with severe memory problems I love that I can verbally make memos like grocery lists with amazing accuracy of talk and it will type. That I can set an appointment on my calendar with notification reminders. Have the four devics synced together. my calendar appointments shows up on my wifes phone and 10 inch tablet, so she can remind me. When she does something on her calendar it shows up on my phone and tablet. my wife also has discovered Facebook and how many family members are posting photos. She's on it daily. Something a woman of 64 never thought she would do. I listen to audible books, and music on Pandora on my phone or Bluetooth through my car radio . Google Map guides me to where I want to go with hands free verbal instructions GPS. I've become dependent on the verbal directions to keep me from getting lost, literally. I could spend an hour more telling you how much I love my samsung experience and the Samsung counter that Best Buy provides. Employees that have the patience and courtesy to deal with a person with disabilities. Best Buys new policy of matching Amazon prices has me buying exclusively at Best Buy. I have found Best Buy 5 star experience. My best buy purchase of my 12.2 tablet is one of the joys in my life. 5 stars does not explain it - it's so much more than that the ability for it to type for me, with my disability this gives me the ability to communicate like I've never been able to before, to text, to send emails, to make notes / memos for myself like I've never been able to before. It brings tears to my eyes how much difference this has made in my life. Signed Michael 57 and Wife age 64 feels the same.

Top of the Tablet Food Chain
We've tried several tablets along with the new ASUS notebook and the I pad Air. None of them compared with the SAMSUNG pro 12.2 white tablet. The price for all the specs compared to the competition, screen size with the side by side windows capability, graphics, speed, 64GB memory, and ease of use all put this at the top making this the final keeper. It is easy to find help when learning to use the system. Picked up the ZAGG keyboard/case which is a nice accessory and very secure when closed up. Put together they also look good. Disappointed it costs so much more to get the white color and that it wasn't easy to locate the white at a competitive price. Gave the Features 4 of 5 because of the HOME and other 2 keys at the Ottoman instead of the right. Due to the size can't hold the tab, let on the left side, usually have it in my lap or on a table. These 3 buttons would be easier on the right. I keep hitting them by accident due to location. This is minor irritant to the overall satisfaction of the product. It's a great value for the money and the best buy compared to the price of the completion with the same specs.
