Nice Tablet
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this tablet for my Daughter for Xmas. Got the tablet on sale during the holidays. She watches steaming tv mostly on it. The sound and picture quality is good for the price. Google has much better apps for What She needed. She has the Amazon HD 10 Fire tablet. This tablet didn't have the apps needed. The Samsung tablet has a Micro SD slot. Bestbuy specs list a non Micro SD expansion. Got her a 128 gb Micro SDcard for more storage. All in all a very good Tablet for the price.

Excellent value for the price

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Mostly use for mobile gaming. Tried to play PS4 remote play and it worked, only issues is that the dual shock isn’t compatible to use it to play, but you can pair the dual shock via Bluetooth to play other games. Sound it’s great and build quality it’s better than iPad. Speed is seamless.

Almost it... not quite a replacement.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5So I've had a Galaxy Tab III since... 2014-ish. I picked it up specifically because I'd owned a Nook tablet and that thing was horrible for magazines. The Tab III was a 10" model, and it worked perfectly for that format. However, six years is a long time for hardware. It was five versions behind on Android, the battery was starting to not last as long - it had served well (and still will be used for light use.) So I shopped around and decided to pick this up. I *almost* went to an Amazon 10" Fire, but I've got a 7" that's not that old and, while it's great for books, I didn't want to deal with the Amazon interface. When I got this, at first I thought I'd been handed a 7" by mistake, given the box dimensions. But, no, this was a 10". The aspect ratio, though, has changed. The old one was closer to 4:3 (1280x800.) This one runs at 2000x1200, or 5:3. Which doesn't *sound* like a huge difference - and the pictures on the website don't look horribly off - but in viewing? It's great for video. It's absolutely stellar for that. Fits perfectly. Magazines or anything "paper ratio" though? They don't fit. Either they're scrunched into part of the screen, or you're zooming in and have to scroll side to side to see the last third (or so) of the page to the side. My options here are to keep it, find another tablet (though this seems to be a popular, practically standard Android resolution at 10",) or go to the Apple 10.1" Ipad - which has the 4:3 ratio that fits what I'm looking for. Will I keep it? Probably. It's quick, it *is* great for video, it's ad free with a standard Samsung/Android interface that I'm used to. It'll run things the old system won't. I *might* look for an older ipad - I don't feel like paying the Apple tax for a new one, or converting over to the Apple ecosystem to deal with it.

Q: QuestionCan you add memory via SD card?
Asked by Mindy.
- A:Answer You can add memory but you can not add apps to the memory card only media.
Answered by DigitalCurator
Q: QuestionWifi is already added?
Asked by Nena.
- A:Answer I'm not sure what you mean by 'already added'.. It has a WiFi chip in it, like almost everything does these days. It does NOT use cellular data (4G LTE or 5G) so you will need to connect it to a WiFi router to go online. If you have a router at home or at work, or can use your own phone as a hotspot, you an go online with it.

Q: QuestionDo you buy the case separate? If so, what case is featured in the photos? I want to buy this for my bf for Christmas. He loves those cases.
Asked by Delainey.
- A:Answer Case is separate, the photos are misleading and product page does not list it is not included. Best Buy should fix this.

Q: QuestionHow do you move apps to the SD card? I do not see anyway on mine. Thanks
Asked by DigitalCurator.
- A:Answer You can not move apps to the SD card. That is why I have the 2019 Tab A 128GB base memory. So the Tab A7 is limited to 32 or 64GB Available for apps. However there are Many "Move to SD card" apps available out on the Net. Good Luck. Please reply if you find a Working app for this situation. Thank you. Mike R.

Q: QuestionDoes it have Wifi 6 support?
Asked by HHL.
- A:Answer Wireless connectivity is listed as: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, BT 5.0 , A-GPS. I do not believe that this supports WiFi 6 because I think that WiFi 6 is 802.11 ax. It doesn't look like even the Galaxy Tab S7+ supports WiFi 6. Good luck!
