A: Specifications for this item state 90 days manufacturers warranty on parts & 90 days labor. I checked a new version of this same SSD and it’s a 3 year manufacturers warranty on parts/labor.
A: It may have been previously used with a Mac. You will need to format the drive in NTFS for Windows to see it. It would still show up in the Control Panel under Devices and Printers, so start there.
Q: Is there any reason why I received mine without cables?
A: These things have almost no quality control. You're lucky if it even still works correctly.
