This dock will work with a variety of Samsung products, including most phones and tablets. I am using it with a Galaxy Tab 4.0 8 inch tablet and it charges the tablet with no issues.

Comes with a nice long charging cord for your Galaxy Tablet, longer than ones you'd buy for more money. Plus you get the charging cradle which can act as a vertical stand (except if you have installed a cover, then it becomes too large for the charger to hold).

Love that it's small and I can just carry it in my purse, use it for my cell phone and my tablet, charges in minutes. Well worth the money spent.

I bought this dock locally when I saw it on closeout. It barely does fit my galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition; however, it does not fit well with the Samsung flip case installed. The tablet feels like it will easily fall over when plugged in. I could not find useful compatibility information on the best buy or Samsung product pages. The dock does feel sturdy and well made. I just don't trust the strength of the USB plug to support my tablet. It would probably work better with a Samsung phone.
A:AnswerA charging dock is very helpful as you can put it on the charger upright and you can just plug it in anywhere next to you and it's functions will work as it's charging. I will also recommend if you have a Samsung that you purchase a Samsung charger, I've experienced that they work better and faster than other name brand chargers. As for the External Battery pack charger, you would have to remove the battery from the phone and place it in the charger and plug it in the socket.
Hope this was helpful.
A:AnswerProbably. Just be careful of the size of any case you install on your phone. The construction is good and will probably work well with any phone with the micro USB plug on the bottom. I do not trust it to support my galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition which is much more awkward in landscape on the dock than a phone standing in portrait orientation would be.
