I received the first refurbished unit and it would not eject tapes. The second unit would not read the majority of DVDs that I tried, even brand new ones.

Unit was dusty and had small scratches. After setup unit would not work. Returned unit to local BEST BUY.

QuestionHD compatibilityI only want to play VCRs and DVDs. Can I use this unit with a non-HD compatible TV? Also, is there any limit on the age or type of VCRs or DVDs it will play.?

- Answer If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs). -MrSamsung
