A: Yes. A lighting to type c would work for iphone. I use it on my iPad Pro and seamless.
A: Not necessarily. A "new PC" with Windows 7 (unless you selected the downgrade) doesn't sound new at all. In other words, the PC itself may be new but lack the latest technology. Your hard drive and motherboard can also create a bottleneck. Check these things out with whoever / wherever you bought your PC to be certain. If you can, try it on a USB-C port or newer PC and see if it's still slow.

A: It should be. It comes with two cables so you should be all set.
Q: What happens when the fingerprint scanner hardware fails Is everything locked up forever?
A: I know this will sound odd, but i do not use fingerprint ID on any kind of electronics PERIOD, that includes the fingerprint ID on my laptop. Password only.
