I've been using these SanDisk microSDs in my GoPro since they came out. They've become my "go-to" SD card. I have found them to be fast, reliable, and resilient. I was using C10 SDs which are good for HD but can sometimes bog down with 4k, so I was very happy to see the release of these new faster ones. This one is UHS3 which means it's faster than a C10. I read on SanDisk's website that the Extreme line is also designed to withstand more abuse: moisture, dust, banging around, which makes them very well suited for GoPro use. There's one more huge benefit in using these SanDisk : the color! Almost all other microSDs are black or dark blue so there easy to lose if they are anywhere with a bunch of black equipment (every single accessory and removable piece of the GoPro is black plastic.) These, on the other hand, are always easy to see and locate. Even when it's mounted in the GoPro it's the red and gold end is visible so you can tell that there's a card loaded in the camera just by glancing at it. It's the little things that make life easier... PS - Writing reviews has become an accidental hobby for me, and it always makes my day to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 24 hours.

This is a replacement I had to buy as I purchased a 32 GBSanDisk about two months earlier for my car camera. Once that one became full I tried to download data to my computer which that worked fine but the problem was after transferring the information I tried to delete the date from the scandisk and it would not erase. I took it to Best Buy lets 3 different Geeks on their team try to do same and they also could not erase via fat 32 or any other means. So I have a full disk of info and unable to use the disk again as it is full 32GB. I asked if they would replace the disk they said no they do not that I would have to contact ScanDisk. Trust me I was not happy with that but purchased this there at Best Buy and placed it in the camera which records and erases fine. So sometimes bigger is not better as I spent 50 bucks on the larger disk and was a huge loss for me. So I still like the product and brand as I have quite a few products that have scandisk memory usage. But there are a few bad ones once in awhile I guess.

I have been heavily into photography and multimedia recording and have dozens of memory cards being used in DSLR camera, camcorders, audio recording devices, tablets and smart phones. SanDisk memory has proven reliable for me in my Canon 6D DSLR, Sony HD Camcorder, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Smart Phones, it also works well in a Zoom H4n digital audio recorder.. I would not hesitate to use this memory in a modern HD Camcorder, DSLR, smart phone or Galaxy tablets. The only place I have seen this memory not work is in my Roku 3, it was not recognized. This memory is overkill for the Roku and if you are buying memory for a RoKu 3, keep the card size down to 2gig or 4 gig for a RoKu. It seems my RoKu 3 can not handle the newer faster large memory cards. I love my RoKu 3, but it's the RoKu 3 just being compatible with this particular memory card. Just giving you a heads up. These are my personal opinions from this tech guy.

There are times in life that require the fastest storage on the market such as data-mining customer product reviews (like this one), and then there are those times when you just need to add a couple gigs to your GPS so that you can install the latest map pack to make road trips safer and more fun when you're so far off the beaten path that your phone's GPS is but a useless toy. Those are the times when you can walk into a Best Buy and confidently say, "Shopkeep, kindly sell me your least expensive MicroSDHC card." He will then gleefully sell you the SanDisk Pixtor 16GB card with a smile and wink and send you on your way with the knowledge that he will keep you from getting lost on some arcane US highway that has long since been supplanted by an Interstate highway and the winds of progress. In sum, it stores data.

Pretty self explanatory. This does a good job of storing pictures from a cell phone. Price came down right after I bought it and its unfortunate what you have to go through with BestBuy to get a price match. Since it was after 15 days BB would not adjust my account. Therefore I had to go to the store, buy a new one, and then return it with the receipt from 16 days prior (original purchase). What a pain, and it made more work for everyone. It wasn't a whole lot of money but after BB customer service via phone was unhelpful I'd be damned if I'm gonna give money back to them. Rep at store said they told me all the wrong info and should've just called store first....

I was looking for a MicroSDHC card to record my videos for YouTube and wanted to go and get the Ultra Plus card. I called the store to see if they had it available and it was, then the operator suggested Pixtor. She gave me a run down on the product and informed me that it was cheap AND was on sale. She made a great call on that. I've made some videos with the card and the results amazed me. It came out EXACTLY TO THE TEA. If you're looking for a card to give you great picture quality from your smartphone, this is worthwhile. I wouldn't suggest, I would RECOMMEND this card. It's that worthy.

I've used multiple SanDisk products over the last 10 years (USB stick, SD, microSD) and the only reason I stop using them is when I replace with a larger capacity item (usually double the storage). I have not had one fail yet after heavy use (mulitple Nikon cameras and phones: HTC and Samsung). The 16 GB card was on sale and the largest size that would function in my Garmin GPS unit (I had previously made the mistake of trying a 64 GB microSD card and it was not recognized). This card has worked like a champ for over a month and a near cross-country trip. I will buy more SanDisk products in the future.

I had to replace my Micro SD card because the photos were chopped up and data failed to load on my new smart phone. Eventually, everything was erased. Oh no! I had to rescue my files. After taking my phone to the provider, they immediately knew what's going on. I had to buy a new card. There I was with so many choices. The store clerk quickly offered my choices. I decided on SanDisk because of reputation and I have many good experiences. I have been using it but it acted a little sluggish sometimes. If I would replace again, I'll go with higher end model.
