I would say this is one of the best ideas in the world. I had Scene it? as a board game and that was/is a lot of fun. This brings it to a whole new level. It comes with 4 wireless controllers that you use to buzz in and answer the questions with. They do run on batteries and you do have to plug in a receiver in order to work them but they have a good distance and the receiver cord is long as well. The game itself is a lot of fun. It is setup so that it saves which questions you were asked and it takes a long time to have the questions repeated. I played almost non-stop for 2 days (probably about 12 hours altogether) after I got it. I started getting a little bit of repeats in 2 of the categories at that time. Although if there are more then 1800 questions as it stats. You could play for 30 hours at 1 question a minute before you start getting repeats. I am sure they will remedy this with downloadable add-ons for it (although it's worth it anyway). The game has a few modes such as long play, short play, and party play. They are all self-explanatory.
Achievements are very nice. You can earn some of them very quickly and others will take awhile to receive.
All in all a very good buy, and well worth getting it right away.

My girl friend bought this game for our apartment last weekend in hopes of finding a video game that she'd enjoy to play with me, and it worked perfectly. We usually party with our neighbors every weekend and this gave us another thing to do other than just play cards games.
The giant buzzer button on the controller acts as a directional pad also, which helps for checking Xbox Live messages during a game session.
I have not yet found if there was a way to turn off the controller, (pressing and holding the Xbox button only gave me the option to turn off console) but I'm sure that while no buttons are pressed it is not using any of the 2 AA batteries.
My girl friend and I have the wireless network adapter which takes up the back USB port, and our External Hard Drive and Xbox live camera take up the front two USB ports, which means that we need to unplug something in order to plug in the Remote censor. This isn't a huge deal but still an inconvenience none the less.
Fun game tho, I recommend it fully.

A really fun game, lot's of variety and it's cool that it comes with controllers. It can be hard though (references to some really old and somewhat obscure movies). It's family friendly in the sense that it's clean but the movies aren't geared towards kids. It's still a fun game for 2 couples but it's frusterating because you can't really do teams (time restrictions on answering don't allow you do confer). I guess you could pass the controller around the team.
Overall I've had a lot of fun playing this game. You don't have to be a video game expert. A general knowledge of movies is all you need. THe questions switch type a lot so you do have to be on your toes!

I got this game for Christmas, 2007. At the time it was very fun because during Christmas you get to hang with your family and friends. This was the game of the break, as it generated so much fun for all of us. The only thing was that the game is based on movies and actors pretty far in the past so if your a gamer born in this century you might have a little trouble keeping up with the adults. The coplay is the best part of the game and the solo play can be used to train and boost your gamer score. This game scores a 5 out of 5.

This is a great idea for the Xbox 360. The Scene it? games are very popular games, and I think if enough people are interested the same should happen with this game. It comes with four buzzers and a receiver that plugs in through one of the consoles USB ports. The buzzers work from across the room and the receiver is very receptive no matter how far away. The only downer of the buzzers is that they all use batteries. The game does come with batteries for all four, but replacing them will likely become a chore.
The game itself is well done and the load times are not that bad. The announcer on the game does get mildly annoying, but it works since it's family entertainment. The question system is very well done as it tracks which questions were asked and won't repeat them. There are a ton of questions on the game so unless you're playing non-stop you likely won't see the same question for a while. There are different types of questions and scenarios that they ask you such as revealing photos slowly to guessing props from movies. There are different types of play such as short play, long play, and party play. The achievements come very easily for those looking for a game with easy achievements. You can likely get around 600 of 1000 in one night and not really try to. I think this game has a good future as you will be able to likely download new question packs from Xbox live. Pretty much future proofing the original purchase. Much like the Guitar Hero games.
I haven't found any glitches in the game yet so I will say this is a very well made game that serves it's purpose as one of the few party games on Xbox 360. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoyed the DVD game, or is interested in party play. Although the single player game is just as enjoyable.

My husband has watched so many movies and he is great at it. Me not so much. There were lots of movies that they asked you about that I had never heard of. It is a fun game though if you have had some friends over and are looking for a game that 4 people can play. It is expensive ($60) but it comes with 4 controllers to buzz in your answers. If you do have a movie lovers, this would make a great gift. But if you don't get out much, then you might not enjoy it.
