A: This is for storage only. You have to transfer your games to the internal drive to play.
Q: Can I use it to back up files on my pc?
A: Yes. Although, you may have to reformat it first.
Q: Is this drive compatible with Windows 11?
A: Yes. You may need to reformat as exFat or NTFS first. Unless you need compatibility with another operating system NTFS is the way to go. You can format it right from Windows Explorer.
Q: Can this unit work on a laptop to store photos, pdf & word files?
A: Yea it can, it's not exclusively for Xbox one. It's just an external hard drive that they endorse. It should work just fine for a laptop.
A: No, as long as it was downloaded to the system previously it will transfer to the device. The only issue would be the size of the game and the transfer time. And you wont be able to play during the transfer.
Q: Will this work with a Dell gaming laptop?
A: Yes It should, but you will need to reformat the HD to work with a PC instead of an Xbox X. Should provide lots of storage for a PC gaming PC
